It was 2006 when it released for the first time but later officially released in April 2007. I was a school going student at that time and was not allowed to watch desired movie from my family as they want me focus on my study. So those movies I've missed at that time I watch now on YouTube.
So today I've picked this one to watch after my lunch. It was in English but I've watched the dubbed one and it was dubbed in Hindi language too. This movie was based on real life and that character exist in real life. The victim was a Punjabi lady from India who came London with his husband who was not good by character.

The main leading role was played by one of my most favorite actor cum model who is well known for her beauty and brain. The most talented and beautiful woman or actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is famous in Bollywood and she also acts on Hollywood movies too. She played the role of victim lady in this movie name Provoked
Movie In Brief :
A woman who was victim of domestic violence for 10 years long marriage. Her name is Kiranjit who belongs to Punjab and her husband brought her in London. They had two kids. After long time torturing Kiranjit decide to punish her husband so she decide to burn her husband in fire to scare him but he was died.
Later with the help of human rights team she rescued from the prison and punishment. She was physically and mentally tortured for 10 years and when she lost her patience she did this. This was a real life story or biography drama movie. I felt the pain of a woman even it was in the movie.
Personal Review :
Actor did proper justice to their character. Audience can feel the pain of a victim lady. I think its a movie based on real life story can be a lesson for those whose responsible for domestic violence and also lesson for the women whose tolerate the torture and scared to protest. The way of protest was not good in this movie as the lady was helpless to do this but maturity could be a peaceful divorce and shouldn’t this brutal murder.
I'm speechless after watching the movie. It really hard to tolerate for such long time but the lady did and the conclusion of the story was bitter as she was forced to kill her husband that way. If we like real life stories or biographical movies then I must recommend this to watch if not yet watched it. This kind of biographical movies can be the lesson for audiences.
