🎶 The Boys are back in town! 🎶

Amazon Prime Video’s hit superhero-satire series has blasted back into the online entertainment sphere—blasted being the appropriate word considering the shenanigans this season’s episode kicks off with.
(Spoilers Below)
Episode 1’s Payback opens with an Ant Man-esque character shrinking down in order to caress the interior of their lover’s genital canal before accidentally sneezing themselves back to normal size, effectively ripping apart a man from the inside out.
The Boys’ show runner Eric Kripke is no stranger to splatters gore, having done plenty of wet special effects in his other popular show, CW’s relatively tamer “Supernatural.” But instead of devils snapping their fingers and bursting angels from the inside out, it’s coked-up superheroes sneezing each other to death.

Episode 2’s The Only Man in the Sky has the Vought corporation celebrating the fake birthday of psychopathic lead-superhero Homelander, and dorky golden-boy Huey learning his political boss Neumann—who comes off as a potential AOC stand-in—is none other than a headblasting supe under the tutelage of Vought corporate elite, Stan Edgar.

Episode 3’s Barbary Coast packs a tightly stuffed can of juicy tidbits: Butcher uses a dangerous drug that gives temporary super powers, Homelander loses his Nazi-girlfriend and surprises Starlight by declaring her his brand new beau on TV, and the supe-hunters learn of a potential weapon that may have downed another top powerful supe—Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles from CW’s “Supernatural.”
