The Last Of Us meets Don’t Breathe

Super Short Movie Review
Why wasn’t this movie called A Quieter Place? While not entirely free of annoying character decisions, and not equipped with scenes beyond a superficial almost-reptilian emotional pull, I found this movie adequate in suspense but abrupt in plot and character development, as if it were not a complete story but a bridge or trailer to whatever part three Hollywood chooses to make.

It’s difficult not to repeat this— The Quiet Trilogy: A Quiet Place, A Quieter Place, and The Quietest Place.
(Spoiler Warning) I could not help but wonder why the aliens killed things that made noise but we’re not seen eating their noisy victims. How did such animalistic extraterrestrial predators arrive on Earth—when they showed no visible ability to use basic tools? At least in other alien invasion films, such primitive violent beasts are shown as ancient natives of Earth or a biological weapon wielded by far more sophisticated alien handlers.
