Anikulapo [2022]

So I came across this movie on Netflix titled Anikulapo, I was curious about what will happen in the movie when I checked the trailer.

Furthermore, the movie is about a man who calms that he had death In is pocket. Yes! Doesn’t sound strange for someone to have death in his pocket.

The movie starts when a young man traveled from his hometown to another town to start up a new life, he hopes he will get a job when he gets to the town until he will be able to establish his own business.

Furthermore, he got lucky to get the attention of an old rich woman who seemed to like him. The woman approached him and makes friendship with him until she eventually establishes the business is into for him.

But due to his greediness and selfishness, he only wanted to get the wealth from the woman alone, which led to conflict between them. But his already well known within the town due to his business.

He manages to get close to the king in one way or others, and he was given business, but instead of focusing on the business, he was interested in get in getting close to the king's young queen.

Do you think that could be possible for him to achieve, meanwhile his a stranger in the town! After some while, the king noticed the relationship between them and decided to punish him according to his crime.

He knew that he had committed a great crime against the rules of the land, and he was punished, beaten and left to die in the wood, but it seems love is something strong, or maybe the young queen was not happy being the king's queen. She decided to escape from the town and help the man.

Along the process, there was an incest bird that had the power to resurrect people from the death. Moreover, it not just people! Only people who die for righteous or in helping people.

Furthermore, the lady had to hide during the process and see what's going to happen. After the bird found out his guilty he wanted him back to death, but the lady attacks the bird, and it flew away leaving it source of power when trying to escape the lady's attack.

The man was alive, and they flew for their life to a town far away, along the journey, they met a hunter in the bush looking for meat. He insists that they should come with him and rest before they continue their journey.

Unfortunately, as the hunter got home, he met his only son dying. It was so sad that numerous people were trying to look out for them. The lady gave the man the power of the ancient bird that was used to wake him from the die, as used for the son man.

Although, they were not sure, maybe it's going to work but just wanted to try their luck due to the history they had about the power of the ancient bird. He walked out boldly and tried to use the power, thou he was scared too.

Luckily for him, the power worked, and the boy raised from the death, everyone was shocked and amazed that there's someone that can raise someone from the death.

This news speared over the town, and he was called for by the elders and Oba of the town. They really appreciated all his efforts ever since he stepped into their town, and they decided to bless him with numerous valuable things.

The movie starts getting interesting after he has been blessed with a lot of wealth, and he decided to get married to more wives. The lady was not happy with it, but had no choice since he was the rich man in the town.

His greediness keeps pushing him around that he starts to request money and valuable things from people before he can help them. He was called for by the Oba to help me raise his son from the death, and he requested to marry his daughter in return for waking his son.
