I've been a bit paranoid about sharks ever since I first saw one of the Jaws movies years ago even though I don't live near the ocean. When I did go to the beach, all I did was walk along the edge of the water because of my fear of sharks. I remember hearing about different shark attacks over the years. I just saw Soul Surfer, a movie about a young girl who survived a shark attack. In some ways, this movie scares me more than every other shark movie I've seen because this really happened.
