Greetings to all cinephiles and film lovers present in hive, welcome to my blog.
As soon as I read the theme of this contest I immediately knew which movie to participate with, because apart from being about an island it is a story that had an impact in its time and that transcended for its basis of survival being the main engine love, when it was broadcasted in cinema I could not see it although I wanted to I do not remember what was the reason, but I remember that the first time I saw it was at home because it was broadcast on a television channel, I was so excited to see it that I prepared myself and I got rid of all my chores to not be disturbed while I watched it.
I did not know the whole story but part of the plot that was about survival, and it was the best because I could feel all the emotions that the protagonist the prestigious actor Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis wanted to convey, it is noteworthy that the protagonist subjected his body to a fattening transformation and then lose weight while filming the movie and to make the character something more authentic, while watching it I felt feelings of sadness, despair, anguish, pain, illusion, joy and even nostalgia, a carousel that I am remembering right now as I write this post, the year it aired was 2000 at that time I was still young and ingenious and I had a good time watching this movie that I have seen twice and I would gladly see it again and I think I would feel the same.

Saludos a todos los cinéfilos y amantes del cine presentes en hive, bienvenidos a mi blog.
En lo que leí el tema de este concurso inmediatamente supe con qué película participar, porque aparte de tratarse sobre una isla es una historia que impacto en su época y que transcendió por su fundamento base de sobrevivencia siendo el motor principal el amor, cuando la trasmitieron en cine no pude verla aunque quería no recuerdo cuál fue la razón, pero si me acuerdo que la primera vez la vi fue en casa porque fue trasmitida en una canal de televisión, yo estaba tan emocionada de verla que me prepare y me desocupe de todos mis quehaceres para no ser perturbada mientras las veía.
No conocía toda la historia sino parte de la trama que se trataba de supervivencia, y fue lo mejor porque pude sentir todas las emociones que el protagonista el prestigioso actor Tom Hanks y el director Robert Zemeckis quisieron transmitir, cabe destacar que el protagonista sometido su cuerpo a una transformación engordando para luego adelgazar mientras se filmaba la película y a hacer del personaje algo más auténtico, mientras la veía sentí sentimientos de tristeza, desesperación, angustia, dolor, ilusión, alegría y hasta nostalgia, un carrusel que estoy recordando en este instante al escribir este post, el año en que trasmitió fue 2000 para ese entonces yo seguía siendo joven e ingenia y me lleve un buen momento viendo esta película que la he visto dos veces y con gusto volvería verla y creo que sentiría lo mismo.
The castaway is a film that has a real base because there have been documented many cases of people who have survived in similar conditions at sea, this makes the story more credible, I do not want to make spoilers because I would like if you have not seen them to see them and draw your own conclusions about this film and the message it wants to teach. First we are shown a man with the perfect life, in love and committed, with a successful job and practically life solved, until one day he has to travel for work and that's when literally everything is over, his plans changed forever by a plane crash where he turned out to be the only survivor.
He had to learn to keep his body and mind balanced in order to survive, while he adapted to the environment and created several shelters he had to learn how to make fire, get fresh water and find solutions to eat, waiting for his rescue that never came it took him years to become aware of his surroundings and while this was happening his mind and body were transformed, he went through all the stages that someone can go through in extreme conditions, with hunger, cold, and loneliness, he faced his inner demons and defeated them to the point of understanding that he would not be rescued because many moons had passed since his disappearance.
El náufrago es un film que tiene un base real porque se han documentado muchos casos de personas que han sobrevivido en condiciones similares en el mar, esto hace que la historia sea más creíble, no quiero hacer spoiler porque me gustaría que si no las has visto las vieras y sacarás tus propias conclusiones sobre esta película y el mensaje que quiere enseñar. Primero nos muestran a un hombre con la vida perfecta, enamorado y comprometido, con un trabajo exitoso y prácticamente la vida resuelta, hasta que un día tiene que viajar por cuestiones de trabajo y es cuando literalmente todo se acaba, sus planes cambiaron para siempre por un accidente aéreo donde resulto ser el único sobreviviente.
Le toco aprender a mantener su cuerpo y mente equilibrados para poder sobrevivir, mientras se adaptó al medio ambiente y creo varios refugios tuvo que aprender hacer fuego, conseguir agua dulce y solucionar que comer, esperando su rescate que nunca llego le tomo años tomar conciencia de todo su entorno y mientras esto sucedía se transformó su mente y su cuerpo, paso por todas las etapas que puede pasar alguien en condiciones extremas, con hambre, frío, y soledad, se enfrentó a sus demonios internos y los venció hasta el punto de entender que no sería rescatado porque habían pasado muchas lunas desde su desaparición.
That led him to make a plan, in which he worked for a long time to leave the island and recover his past life, while this happened his only company was a soccer ball that the sea water dragged, he humanized it by creating a face and turned it into his confidant and best friend, this was the solution to keep his sanity, although it seemed that he was losing it. The character of the ball, named Wilson after the sports brand, broke our hearts as a spectator when the sea took him away, because he was the best friend that can exist, he listens attentively and without interruptions, he is loyal, always accompanied his friend and never abandoned him, the final separation was not Wilson's fault, the plan worked and he escaped from the island that almost killed him, but in reality made him stronger.
When he arrived in the city, after being rescued at sea, because he had the courage to leave his comfort zone, the one he had built on the island, he had to face a society he did not know, he had to go through the transition from being wild to civilized, he had lost the fluid communication he had before and talking and telling about his experience was not something he wanted to do. The hardest thing was to realize that time changes everything, things and people are no longer the same, those he had known before the accident were already others and even his love story was over.
Eso lo llevo a trazarse un plan, en el trabajo mucho tiempo para salir de la isla y poder recuperar su vida pasada, mientras esto sucedía su única compañía fue un balón de futbol que el agua del mar arrastro, lo humanizo creándole un rostro y lo convirtió en su confidente y mejor amigo, esta fue la solución para mantener su cordura, aunque parecía que la estaba perdiendo. El personaje del Balón que se llamó Wilson por la marca deportiva, nos rompió el corazón como espectador cuando el mar se lo llevo, porque era el mejor amigo que puede existir, escucha con atención y sin interrupciones, es leal, siempre acompaño a su amigo y nunca lo abandono, la separación final no fue culpa de Wilson, El plan resulto y escapo de la isla que por poco lo mata, pero que en realidad lo hizo más fuerte.
Al llegar a la ciudad, luego de ser rescatado en el mar, porque tuvo la valentía de salir de su zona de confort, la que había construido en la isla, le toco enfrentarse a una sociedad que desconocía, tuvo que pasar por la transición de ser salvaje ha civilizado, la comunicación fluida que antes tenía la había perdido y volver hablar y contar sobre su experiencia no era algo que quería hacer. Lo más difícil fue darse cuenta de que el tiempo cambia todo, las cosas y las personas ya no son iguales, las que él había conocido antes del accidente ya eran otras e incluso su historia de amor se había acabado.

Love was the engine that made him survive all the time, that feeling kept him alive and with the hope and desire to return, only that when he returned his fiancée was already married and with children by another man, because many years had passed and he had been given up for dead. I felt that impact and it hurt me just like the protagonist, I cried and I was saddened, but there is something that is important to emphasize, love keeps us alive, no matter what kind of love, it can be the love of parents, siblings, friends, love for an art, in the story it was the love of a couple.
Well, in the end, everything is overcome and love triumphs, this is a beautiful movie that also makes you spend moments of humor, many years have passed since I saw it and I still remember the whole story, I consider it one of the best about islands that I have seen, I would choose it because if I were on a desert island this would influence my mood and for sure it would help me to get out of any situation.

El amor, fue el motor que lo hizo sobrevivir todo el tiempo, ese sentimiento lo mantuvo vivo y con la esperanza y el deseo de volver, solo que al regresar ya su prometida estaba casada y con hijos de otro hombre, pues habían pasado muchos años y lo habían dado por muerto. Ese impacto lo sentí y me dolió igual que al protagonista, lloré y me entristecí, pero hay algo que es importante destacar, el amor nos mantiene vivos, no importa que tipo de amor, puede ser el de padres, el de hermanos, el de amigos, el amor por un arte, en la historia era el amor de pareja.
Bueno, al final, todo se supera y el amor triunfa, esta es una bella película que también te hace pasar momentos de humor, han pasado muchos años desde que la vi y aún recuerdo toda la historia, considero que es una de las mejores sobre islas que he visto, la elegiría porque si estuviera en una isla desierta esta influiría en mi estado de ánimo y con seguridad me ayudaría a salir de cualquier situación.
