A long time ago when I saw this movie on television, (I don't remember what channel it was the truth) at the beginning I liked it a lot and I was quite entertained, there were certain scenes more than anything fighting that at this point I don't know why, perhaps because of the noise or the grotesque form of the creature that impacted me a little, negatively scaring me. But otherwise other aspects consolidated in its setting and animation I liked ignoring the fact of who it was, it was not much later when I grew up that curiously I saw it again and the impact was still the same as when I was much smaller, but with the difference that I investigated this time about that character in question, and just 3 days ago I saw it again for nostalgia, you could say that this would be the third or fifth time I've seen this movie.
It is a very good movie that despite the date and be something old, so to speak even currently still retains in my opinion everything that is characterized in a good way, what would be called as a very epic adventure in search of glory, but that is something that I will touch in detail later and it should be noted that I also reported on this character in question, this hero which has been represented as an epic figure in such an ancient literary poem, plus I liked how in that aspect much of the plot or important aspects of the poem, are maintained in the film in essence with certain changes which I will expose later, so this time I bring you Beowulf.
Hace muchísimo tiempo atrás cuando vi esta película en la televisión, (no recuerdo que canal era la verdad) al comienzo me gusto muchísimo y me entretuvo bastante, habían ciertas escenas más que nada combates que a estas alturas no sé porque, quizás por el ruido o la forma grotesca de la criatura que me impacto un poco, de manera negativa llevándome asustar. Pero de resto otros aspectos consolidados en su ambientación y animación me gustaron ignorando el hecho de quien era o se trataba, no fue mucho después cuando crecí que curiosamente la vi de nuevo y el impacto seguía siendo el mismo de cuando era mucho más pequeño, pero con la diferencia de que investigue esta vez sobre ese personaje en cuestión, y justamente hace 3 días atrás la volví a ver por nostalgia, se podría decir que con esta sería la tercera o quinta vez que he visto esta película.
Es una película muy buena que a pesar de la fecha y ser algo vieja, por así decirlo aun actualmente sigue conservando a mi parecer todo lo que se caracteriza de una buena manera, lo que se denominaría como una aventura muy épica en busca de gloria, pero eso es algo que tocare a detalles más adelante y cabe aclarar que también me informe sobre este personaje en cuestión, este héroe el cual se ha representado como una figura épica en un poema literario tan antiguo, además de que me gusto como en ese aspecto gran parte de la trama o aspectos importantes de dicho poema, se mantienen en la película en esencia con ciertos cambios cosa que expondré mas adelante, así que esta vez les traigo Beowulf.

Synopsis / Sinopsis
Our plot focuses on Denmark to be exact in the palace Heorot, a place where celebrations and celebrations are made, unfortunately this place is constantly threatened by a horrible troll called Grendel that stalks in that place killing the guests or devouring them, except the king (Hrothgar) such king gets tired of this and issues a great reward, whoever helps him kill the beast and this is where Beowulf enters a Gauta hero who with his men offers his services against the monster and much more.
Nuestra trama se enfoca en Dinamarca para ser exactos en el palacio Heorot, un lugar donde se hacen festejos y celebraciones, lamentablemente dicho lugar se ve amenazado constantemente por un horrible troll llamado Grendel que asecha en dicho lugar matando a los invitados o devorándolos, exceptuando al rey (Hrothgar) tal rey se cansa de esto y emite una gran recompensa, aquel que le ayude a matar a la bestia y aquí es donde entra Beowulf un héroe Gauta que con sus hombres ofrece sus servicios contra el monstruo y mucho mas.

For a film of 2007 is quite good and entertaining even in these times in my opinion, responds with a more than acceptable animation and a very good atmosphere mixing adventure, dangers and challenges in this case being a modified adaptation in several aspects of the poem of Beowulf, I will take the time to go breaking down part by part these aspects already mentioned lightly and giving you my true opinion.
The animation in this feature film is more than acceptable and not at all visually uncomfortable or well I particularly did not feel that way, and if with all this I am leaving aside my nostalgic side for this film and being objective as best as possible, the animation in certain sections and scenes looks a bit dull, but I would understand it considering the environment in which much of the action and the plot unravels, and even for the time is something that I would forgive, far from that is not bad and the truth that in certain scenes of both combat and reflection, are very well understood and convey what should the viewer, I say this from experience with the trauma that I took as a child in one of the fights, to be honest the first.
The setting recreates very well what happens, transporting us to an ancient time and certainly being somewhat faithful to the poem in some aspects I repeat in some aspects, as the film in question is being modified, and it is not a bad thing, I just mention it this way to give a differentiation on those points, otherwise it is inverse and you get attached to some characters, some more than others.
With respect to the plot and the modifications, you will see in the poem that narrates the journey and history of Beowull, this is diversified in 4 aspects or "cantos" in which is narrated section by section his journey, rise and fall, in the film there are certain patterns that are faithful to the poem but with some modifications with Beowull and the witch in question and other aspects, personally I do not mind, these literary representations of heroes or mythological figures should not necessarily be followed to the letter, and I think I mentioned it some time ago with other posts, the director or directors if they have the opportunity to modify certain aspects because they want to show other aspects or follow an interpretation of that poem or book at their convenience can, I feel it gives more variety and show us a somewhat different but entertaining product depending also if such product is receptive or not is something common and how many modifications you want to do or be more faithful or not to the original content.
It is a movie that I personally recommend, it is very entertaining and the literary poem as well, if it catches your attention and you want to give it a chance go ahead, I quite enjoyed it despite that slight trauma that haunts me with that fight, far from that the rest is well structured in this version and I understand that there is an older animated version that if more strict and another movie, maybe I will bring them and see them we will see when I have the free time and put them on my list like this. Para ser una película del 2007 es bastante buena y entretenida incluso en estos tiempos en mi opinión, responde con una animación más que aceptable y una ambientación muy buena mesclando aventura, peligros y desafíos en este caso siendo una adaptación modificada en varios aspectos del poema de Beowulf, me tomare el tiempo para ir desglosando parte por parte estos aspectos ya mencionados de manera ligera y brindándoles mi opinión verídica.
La animación en este largometraje está más que aceptable y no es para nada incomoda visualmente o bueno particularmente yo no lo sentí así, y si con todo esto estoy dejando de lado mi lado nostálgico por esta película y siendo objetivo lo mejor posible, la animación en ciertas secciones y escenas luce un tanto opaca, pero lo entendería considerando el ambiente el cual se desenlaza gran parte de la acción y la trama, y aun para la época es algo que yo perdonaría, lejos de eso no está nada mal y la verdad que en ciertas escenas tanto de combate como de reflexión, se entienden muy bien y transmiten lo que debería al espectador, lo digo por experiencia con el trauma que me lleve de niño en uno de los combates, para ser honestos el primero.
La ambientación recrea muy bien lo que ocurre, transportadnos a una época antigua y siendo ciertamente algo fiel al poema en algunos aspectos repito en algunos aspectos, ya que la película en cuestión está siendo modificada, y no es algo malo, solo lo menciono así para dar una diferenciación en esos puntos, por lo demás es inversiva y te encariñas con algunos personajes, unos más que otros.
Con respecto a la trama y las modificaciones, verán en el poema que narra la travesía eh historia de Beowull, este se diversifica en 4 aspectos o "cantos" en los cuales se narra sección por sección su travesía, auge y caída, en la película hay ciertos patrones que son fieles al poema pero con algunas modificaciones con Beowull y la bruja en cuestión y otros aspectos, en lo personal mi no me molesta, estas representaciones literarias de héroes o figuras mitológicas no necesariamente deben seguirse al pie de la letra, y creo que lo mencione en algunos momentos hace tiempo con otros post, el director o directores si tienen la oportunidad de modificar ciertos aspectos porque quieren mostrar otras vertientes o seguir una interpretación de dicho poema o libro a su conveniencia se puede, siento que da más variedad y nos muestran un producto algo diferente pero entretenido dependiendo también si es receptivo tal producto o no es algo común y que tantas modificaciones se quieran hacer o ser más fieles o no al contenido original.
Es una película que en lo personal recomiendo, es muy entretenida y el poema literario también, si les llama la atención y quieren darle una oportunidad adelante, yo la disfrute bastante a pesar de ese ligero trauma que me persigue con ese combate, lejos de eso lo demás está bien estructurado en esta versión y tengo entendido que hay una versión animada más vieja que si es mas estricta y otra película, quizás las traiga y las vea ya veremos cuando tenga el tiempo libre y las ponga en mi lista como esta.
