After having seen the anime Monster (again) and giving it its deserved review, I went to see my list of series both anime and cartoons to explore for this year, and what better way to continue with this list than with this particular anime which I will talk about today, which caught my attention at first instance by its designs and especially its name, I know that previously when I reviewed different series or movies I started in most cases, with a "at first instance I did not call my attention but I will give it a chance" but in this case it was the opposite, I had very high expectations, because before watching the series my curiosity won me and I saw some battle scenes of certain chapters of this anime on youtube, and I loved it, starting from that part, I felt pretty sure.
And I was really right, I was not disappointed at all and kept me very hooked in the plot, this particular anime no close friend or acquaintance recommended it to me, if I'm honest I saw its name in a Facebook comment, in one of these various anime pages that I follow, I quickly investigated on my own, I added it to my list I saw some quick scenes on youtube as I mentioned before and then I saw the series after watching Monster again, it is in my opinion another raw stone undervalued more than anything in the manga that I am also reading it, but I will only deal exclusively with the anime as usual in this space, so without further ado let's start with Claymore.
Después de haber visto el anime de Monster (otra vez) y darle su merecida reseña, me dirigí a ver mi listado de series tanto de animes y cartoons por explorar para este año, y que mejor forma de seguir con dicho listado que con este anime particular del cual les hablare el día de hoy, que me llamo la atención a primera instancia por sus diseños y sobre todo su nombre, se que anteriormente cuando hacia reseñas sobre diversas series o películas comenzaba en la mayoría de los casos, con un "a primera instancia no me llamo la atención pero le daré una oportunidad" pero en este caso fue todo lo contrario tenía muy altas expectativas, ya que antes de ver la serie mi curiosidad me gano y vi algunas escenas en batallas de ciertos capítulos de este anime en youtube, y me encanto ya partiendo por esa parte, me sentía bastante seguro.
Y realmente estaba en lo correcto, no me decepciono del todo y me mantuvo muy enganchado en la trama, este anime en particular ningún amigo cercano o conocido me lo recomendaron, si les soy honesto vi su nombre en un comentario de Facebook, en unas de estas diversas paginas de anime que sigo, investigue rápidamente por mi cuenta, lo agregue a mi listado vi algunas escenas rápidas en youtube como ya mencione con anterioridad y luego me vi la serie después de verme otra vez Monster, es a mi parecer otra piedra en bruto infravalorada más que nada en el manga que también me lo estoy leyendo, pero solo me encargare exclusivamente del anime como es costumbre en este espacio, así que sin mas preámbulo comencemos con Claymore.

Claymore or in Japanese "Kureimoa" is a manga set in a dark fantasy, both written and illustrated by Norihiro Yagi, the manga debuted in 2001 in May and spent some time changing important magazines like Shonen jump or Jump square, in the year 2007 was issued an animated series about the manga, starting this transmission on April 3 and ending on September 27 of the same year, the studio responsible for its animation at that time was the Madhouse studio (responsible for making anime like One punch man).
Claymore o en Japones "Kureimoa" es un manga ambientado con una fantasía oscura, tanto escrito como ilustrado por Norihiro Yagi, dicho manga debuto en el 2001 en Mayo y paso durante cierto tiempo cambiando de revistas importantes como Shonen jump o Jump square, en el año del 2007 se emitió una serie de animación sobre el manga, comenzando dicha transmisión el 3 de abril y finalizando el 27 de septiembre del mismo año en curso, el estudio encargado para su animación en aquel entonces fue el estudio de Madhouse (encargado de hacer animes como One punch man).
Synopsis / Sinopsis
Our plot focuses mainly on the life of Claire a Claymore, name assigned to a group of blonde women with pale skin who use a particular weapon, which is a claymore sword worth the redundancy and are at the service of a mysterious organization, which prepares and modifies them physically to fight and protect human lives from certain monsters called "Yomas", through Claire or Clare we can see how she carries her day to day in various scenarios, fulfilling her duty and also some personal reasons that prompted her to make that kind of warrior woman.
Nuestra trama se enfoca principalmente en la vida de Claire una Claymore, nombre que se le asigna a un conjunto de mujeres rubias y con piel pálida que usan un arma particular, la cual es una espada claymore valga la redundancia y están al servicio de una organización misteriosa, que las prepara y modifica físicamente para luchar y proteger las vidas humanas de ciertos monstruos llamados “Yomas”, a través de Claire o Clare podemos ver cómo lleva su día a día en varios escenarios, cumpliendo su deber y también algunos motivos personales que la impulsaron para hacer esa clase de mujer guerrera.

There are many very noticeable aspects, as well as some not so visible at first instance or that are very hidden by the plot itself that I liked a lot, first I would like to emphasize those not so noticeable aspects, which for me have much relevance and then move to the other aspects that complement the plot and outcome as such of this anime in question. The first not so notorious aspect that I really liked is the impact and weight of each female character in this series, without falling into the fanservice or in the approach of angles or suggestive parts of any woman, or with some excessive lewd intention is an aspect that I really liked, most of the female characters that will be seen have a strong, competitive character and are also measured by their use of skills, we are talking about modified women who use the blood and flesh of the "Yoma" to be as strong as them and protect humans.
The gloomy setting transports the viewer to dark places, of which people are prey to fear of these creatures, all this is reflected in the collective fear in some villages, another personal aspect that I like is also how it is set in a kind of pseudo medieval or medieval world, completely something that I personally like a lot since I'm a fan of stories originating in that kind of world, we can also see the rejection or fear of these women Claymores by the inhabitants since they do not know where they come from, the result of the ignorance of most, as they work for a hidden organization as well as not knowing how they do to use those skills, causing some rejection but at the same time fear and respect.
The animation is acceptable for its time, it is not something very outstanding and very striking as compared to the animation of Kimetzu no yaiba or One punch man (made by the same studio but this being a little more current) or some fight scenes in Boku no hero movies, but it is understandable considering the time in which the series was animated and besides that personally it is not a bad animation either, it has its good touches and points in certain aspects like a very sharp fluidity in fast movements or details in the facial expressions mainly in the eyes, on the other hand the plot is very attractive in my opinion it has certain links with Berserk but more than anything in its setting and monsters, far from that the plot takes different patterns that are quite striking, although with some slight references to the previous series mentioned just that, but not making it a plagiarism.
I am currently reading the manga little by little and it is much better than the anime, since the anime only shows a quarter of what happens in the manga, I recommend that if you are interested in the series and want to know how it ends or how it continues, I recommend that you read the manga to be more informed, I admit that certain designs of some monsters are very striking and in the manga this will be more denoted. If you are looking for a story in which the female gender stands out significantly most of the time, without falling into an absurd fanservice and with a somewhat dark or gloomy plot, this series is for you.

Hay muchos aspectos muy notorios, así como algunos no tan visibles a primera instancia o que están muy ocultos por la trama en sí que me gustaron mucho, primero me gustaría hacer un énfasis a aquellos aspectos no tan notorios, que para mi tienen mucha relevancia para luego pasar a los demás aspectos que complementen la trama y desenlace como tal de este anime en cuestión. El primer aspecto no tan notorio que me gusto mucho es el impacto y peso de cada personaje femenino en esta serie, sin caer en el fanservice o en el enfoque de ángulos o partes sugestivas de cualquier mujer, o con alguna intención lasciva desmedida es un aspecto que me gusto mucho, gran parte de los personajes femeninos que se verá tienen un carácter firme, competitivo y se miden también por su uso de habilidades, estamos hablando de mujeres modificadas que usan la sangre y carne de los “Yoma” para ser tan fuertes como ellos y proteger a los humanos.
La ambientación lúgubre transporta al espectador a lugares obscuros, de los cuales las personas son presa del miedo ante estas criaturas, todo esto se ve reflejado en el miedo colectivo en algunos pueblos, otro aspecto personal, que me gusta es también en cómo está ambientado en una especie de mundo algo pseudo medieval o medieval, completamente algo que en lo personal me gusta mucho ya que soy algo fanático de historias originarias en esa clase de mundo, también podemos ver el rechazo o miedo a estas mujeres Claymores por parte de los habitantes ya que desconocen de donde provienen, fruto de la ignorancia de la mayoría, ya que estas trabajan para una organización oculta así como desconocer el cómo hacen para usar esas habilidades, causando cierto rechazo pero a la vez miedo y respeto.
La animación es aceptable para su epoca, no es algo muy sobresaliente y muy llamativo como en comparación a la animación de Kimetzu no yaiba o One punch man (hecho por el mismo estudio pero este siendo un poco más actual) o algunas escenas de pelea en películas de Boku no hero, pero se entiende considerando el tiempo en el cual se animo la serie y además de que en lo personal no es una animación mala tampoco, tiene sus buenos toques y puntos en ciertos aspectos como una fluidez muy nítida en movimientos rápidos o detalles en las expresiones faciales principalmente en los ojos, por otra parte la trama es muy atractiva a mi parecer tiene ciertas vinculaciones con Berserk pero más que nada en su ambientación y monstruos, lejos de eso la trama toma patrones diferentes que son bastante llamativos, aunque con algunas referencias ligeras a la anterior seria mencionada solo eso, aunque no haciéndola un plagio.
Actualmente me estoy leyendo poco a poco el manga y está mucho mejor que el anime, ya que el anime solo muestra una cuarta parte de lo que ocurre en el manga, les recomiendo que si les llama la atención la serie y se la ven y quieren saber cómo termina o como sigue, les recomiendo que se lean el manga para estar más informados, admito que ciertos diseños de algunos monstros son muy llamativos y en el manga esto se denotara mas. Si buscan una historia en el cual el género femenino sobresalga de forma significativa la mayoría de las veces, sin caer en un absurdo fanservice y con una trama algo obscura o lúgubre esta serie es para ustedes.
Y con esto termino este reseña de este gran anime, la próxima serie que les traiga luego, no será un anime como en este caso será un Cartoon pero no diré más jejeje, espero haya sido de su agrado la lectura y muchas gracias por llegar hasta aquí sin más que decir hasta la próxima.
