This is a particular anime that I've certainly been putting off too much, and it's about time to give it the opportunity and review it deserves. Last month I said that for this time I would like to approach and bring, both series and movies that I saw a long time ago, but I did not give them the necessary attention, since I talk about other things in particular in this community, and this series will not be an exception nor this or the upcoming ones at their respective time, so I gave myself the task of watching it again, more than anything to refresh my memory even more, and form a good structure with what I want to capture and show to the community and its interested readers, and certainly at the end of watching it I teared me emotionally as that first time when I saw it.
It is one of those series that certainly tear your heart and soul and even more if you manage to empathize with the situation, which is lived and gradually escalates to reach such a terrible point, that you can only sadly accept what is happening before the experience of many of the characters that make up that world, and I must say that there are several factors of which I want to deepen or at most touch in detail but not so deep, because I do not want to lengthen so much this review, I can only get to say that I will try to be as transparent as possible to talk about this series, although you will see issues related to malice and human nature and curiously about love but in different ways, so this time I bring you the anime Devilman Crybaby.
Este es un anime en particular que ciertamente eh estado postergando demasiado la verdad, y ya viene siendo hora de darle la oportunidad y reseña que se merece. El mes pasado dije que para este tiempo me gustaría abordar y traer, tanto series como películas que vi hace un largo tiempo atrás, pero no les di la atención necesaria, ya que hable de otras cosas en particular en esta comunidad, y esta serie no será una excepción ni esta ni las venideras a su respectivo momento, así que me di la tarea de volver a verla, más que nada para refrescar aun mas mi memoria, y formar una buena estructura con lo que quiero plasmar y mostrar a la comunidad y sus lectores interesados, y ciertamente al culminar de verla me desgarro emocionalmente como aquella primera vez cuando la vi.
Es una de esas series que ciertamente te desgarran de apoco el alma y el corazón y aun mas si logras tener empatía con la situación, que se vive y que escala gradualmente hasta llegar a un punto tan terrible, que solo te queda aceptar tristemente lo que esta ocurriendo ante lo vivido por la gran parte de personajes que conforman ese mundo, y debo decir que hay varis factores de los cuales quiero profundizar o a lo mucho tocar de forma detallada pero no tan profunda, porque no quiero alargar tanto esta reseña, solo puedo llegar a decir que intentare ser lo más trasparente posible para hablar de esta serie, aunque se verán temas vinculados a la malicia y naturaleza humana y curiosamente sobre el amor aunque de maneras diferentes, así que esta vez les traigo al anime de Devilman Crybaby.

Devilman Crybaby, comes being considered as an anime series, which is based on the Devilman manga by Go Nagai, with the differentiation that this work is updated and certainly modified for current times, the series was directed by Maasaki Yuasa, and written by Ichiro Okouichi said series was released on January 5, 2018, and the platform on which this was presented was on Netflix adding in turn its originality for that platform. The series consists of a total of 10 episodes with a running time of 25 minutes per episode.

Synopsis / Sinopsis
The story focuses on the life of a young man named Akira Fudo and his best friend named Ryo Asuka, which from an early age have lived several situations together of various things, it happens that Ryo needs the help of his best friend, as this has led an investigation and exploration before the discovery of demons and comes to the conclusion that these do exist and not only that live among us, it is due to this premise and also the intentions of Ryo beyond this that the history of these two will take a significantly raw turn for both.
La historia se centra en la vida de un joven llamado Akira Fudo y su mejor amigo llamado Ryo Asuka, los cuales desde una temprana edad han vivido varias situaciones juntos de diversas cosas, ocurre que Ryo necesita la ayuda de su mejor amigo, ya que este ha llevado una investigación y exploración ante el descubrimiento de los demonios y llega a la conclusión de que estos si existen y no solo eso viven entre nosotros, es debido a esta premisa y también a las intensiones de Ryo mas allá de esto que la historia de estos dos tomara un giro significativamente crudo para ambos.

Before starting to watch the series again, because in fact I saw it a few years ago but I never gave it a chance to talk about it properly here, I remember that I said to myself, I don't think it will affect me again as before and I couldn't have been more wrong, it is impressive that after the interval of time since the last time I saw this series and watching it right now it keeps breaking my heart so many times, reliving again all those events that led me to a deep sadness really left me a lot to think about and indeed that is one of the greatest strengths of this series. Being an adaptation of the iconic franchise and figure as it is "Devilman" with the difference that this series is presented in a fresher way and adapted to these current times, but maintaining the essence that characterizes it, I can say that really mostly it was done quite well.
I feel that because of the topics it deals with and the strong content it also exposes, it does not make me believe or think that it is pretentious or try to be, since in essence that kind of visual content so strong linked, with death, sex, violence and blood was seen in the previous works linked to the franchise, both some movies and their respective ovas the difference is that here it is shown in a slightly more interesting way, since the series itself shows a very fast pace when it comes to show things in a narrative way and if it has its strong and graphic scenes but not as many as you think in comparison to previous works of 50 years ago for example, where it was more crude, since this is compensated a little more addressing aspects linked to human nature, mainly before points such as insignificance, melancholy, sadness, introspection in minor points and above all nihilism and this last point will take greater relevance and weight exposed, by the works and actions so Dantesque that come to take place between humans and demons.
It is impressive how gradually everything gets worse, but narratively speaking it has weight and as you move forward and approach the end, comes the strongest and saddest especially when one as a viewer takes a certain degree of affection or projection or identification, in some characters either by their questionable actions or simply because we misjudge them, it takes a strong and brief relevance only to be overshadowed by the cruel reality linked by an inhuman nature, and another by a heartless nature and lack of those emotions that the same demons do not know. It is curious how characters like Akira and in this case the antagonist Ryo, have a different vision but that difference makes their actions unique in a certain way, with Akira I really cried for his inadequacy for very noble intentions (if you watch the series until the end, you will understand what I mean) and for Ryo his excessive obsession and twisted love led him to not only lose everything, but to destroy the only thing that gave him happiness and all that realizing it too late.
Now I must say that in terms of animation, at the beginning if I'm honest I found it a little weird the truth but not in a bad way, it's just that I'm not used to see content, so with an animation like this in which sometimes it shows a little inconsistent in some things or movements, and is something visually surreal from my point of view, But as I continued watching the series I got to adapt and it was not so bad, I did not really dislike it, of course it has its visual moments a little strong, especially when it is involved with things like sex or violence, but otherwise even in fluency so to speak in combat is not so bad, I could say that it is quite acceptable.
Regarding the plot, certainly gives an air from beginning to end of sadness and melancholy, emotions that are linked to those aspects and a little more and as it progresses it takes on more weight and meaning in those emotional points, I feel that here the writer or in charge of the whole work itself knew, what he was doing, showing the human condition, and how this adapts or shows in the presence of demons and how this changes reaching a point in which only becomes a meeting in which the true nature of some come out in the worst moments, this is one of the things that I liked the most, but in turn were one of the saddest because those who suffered the most were those who were genuinely more noble in their heart, as Akira and his friend Miki.
To culminate, the soundtrack is a beauty, there are some songs that are very worthwhile and transmit many things, certainly here I have no problem. And with this I finish today's review, it is certainly a series that will hit you a lot and I mean emotionally, perhaps some people more than others, but in my particular case if it hurt me enough, it is one of those series that today I have not returned to feel that gave me a feeling as strong and heartbreaking as this for now, I recommend watching it alone or accompanied with adults for some scenes and strong themes, without more to say thank you for getting here and until next time.
Antes de empezar a ver la serie de nuevo, porque en efecto la vi hace unos años atrás pero nunca le di una oportunidad para hablar de ella como es debido por aquí, recuero que me dije para mis adentros, que no creo que me vuelva afectar como antes y mas equivocado no pude a ver estado, es impresionante que a pasar del intervalo de tiempo en comparación desde la última vez que vi esta serie y verla en estos momentos me siga rompiendo el corazón tantas veces, el revivir nuevamente de a poco todos esos acontecimientos que me llevaron a una tristeza profunda realmente me dejo mucho en que pensar y en efecto esa es una de las mayores fortalezas de esta serie. Al ser una adaptación de la icónica franquicia y figura como lo es "Devilman" con la diferencia de que esta serie, esta presentada de una manera mas fresca y adaptada a estos tiempos actuales, pero manteniendo la esencia que le caracteriza en sí, puedo llegar a decir que realmente en su mayoría se hizo bastante bien.
Siento que por los temas que aborda y por el contenido fuerte que también expone, no me hace creer o pensar que sea pretensiosa o intente serlo, ya que en esencia ese tipo de contenido visual tan fuerte vinculado, con muerte, sexo, violencia y sangre se veía en los anteriores trabajos vinculados a la franquicia, tanto algunas películas y sus respectivas ovas la diferencia es que aquí se muestra de una manera un poco mas interesante, ya que la serie de por si muestra un ritmo muy acelerado a la hora de mostrar las cosas de forma narrativa y si tiene sus escenas fuertes y graficas pero no tantas como se piensa en comparación a trabajos anteriores de hace 50 años atrás por ejemplo, en donde era más crudo, ya que esto se compensa un poco mas abordando aspectos ligados a naturaleza humana, principalmente ante puntos como la insignificancia, la melancolía, la tristeza, la introspección en menores puntos y sobre todo el nihilismo y este último punto tomara mayor relevancia y peso expuesto, por las obras y acciones tan dantescas que llegan a efectuase entre humanos y demonios.
Es impresionante como de manera paulatina o gradualmente todo empeora pero narrativamente hablando tiene peso y a medida de que avanzas y te acercas al final, viene lo mas fuerte y triste en especial cuando uno como espectador toma cierto grado de cariño o proyección o identificación, en algunos personajes ya sea por sus acciones cuestionables o simplemente porque los juzgamos mal, cobra una relevancia fuerte y breve solo para ser opacadas por la cruel realidad vinculada por una naturaleza inhumana, y otra por una naturaleza sin corazón y con carencia de esas emociones que los mismos demonios desconocen. Es curioso como personajes como Akira y en este caso el antagonista Ryo, tienen una visión diferente pero esa diferencia hace única sus acciones de cierta forma, con Akira realmente llore por su insuficiencia por muy noble sus intenciones (si ven la serie hasta el final, ya entenderán a lo que me refiero) y por Ryo su desmedida obsesión y amor retorcido lo orillo de un momento a no solo perderlo todo, si no a destruir lo único que le daba felicidad y todo eso dándose cuenta muy tarde.
Ahora debo decir que en términos de animación, al comienzo si les soy honesto me pareció un poco raro la verdad pero no en un mal sentido, es solo que no estoy acostumbrado a ver contenido, pues con una animación así en la cual a veces se muestre un poco inconsistente en algunas cosas o movimientos, y quede algo visualmente surrealista desde mi punto de vista, pero a medida de que seguía viendo la serie me llegue adaptar y no estaba tan mal la verdad no me llego a desagradar, claro tiene sus momentos visuales un poco fuertes, en especial cuando se ve involucrado con cosas como el sexo o la violencia, pero de resto incluso en fluidez por así decirlo en combates no esta tan mal, podría decir que esta bastante aceptable.
Respecto a la trama, ciertamente da un aire de principio a fin de tristeza y melancolía, emociones que estén vinculadas a esos aspectos y un poco mas y a medida de que se avanza cobra más peso y significado en esos puntos emocionales, siento que aquí el escritor o encargado de todo el trabajo en si supieron, lo que estaba haciendo, mostrando la condición humana, y como esta se adapta o muestra ante la presencia de los demonios y como esto cambia llegando a un punto en cual solo se convierte a un encuentro en el que la verdadera naturaleza de algunos salga a flote en los peores momentos, esta es una de las cosas que mas me gusto, pero a su vez fueron una de las mas tristes ya que los que sufrieron mas fueron aquellos seres que fueron genuinamente más nobles en su corazón, como Akira y su amiga Miki.
Para culminar, la banda sonora es una belleza hay algunas canciones que valen mucho la pena y transmiten muchas cosas, ciertamente aquí no tengo ningún problema. Y con esto termino la reseña del día de hoy, ciertamente es una serie que te pegara mucho y me refiero emocionalmente, quizás a algunas personas más que otras, pero en mi caso particular si me dolió bastante, es una de esas series que en la actualidad no he vuelto a sentir que me diera una sensación tan fuerte y desgarradora como esta por ahora, recomiendo verla solo o acompañado con adultos por algunas escenas y temas fuertes, sin más que decir gracias por llegar hasta aquí y hasta la próxima.
