The Halloween was three days ago and yes a post about it it’s long overdue . Hahaha . As I told you recently I had a trip in USA 🇺🇸 More specifically to Los Angeles and to Tennessee. I am organising great post with great photos and a lot of things to talk about but before that I thought I will post about Halloween and what big of holiday it is to the USA in contrast to Greece. As any Greek know Halloween 🎃 is being celebrated in Greece for the past decade maybe less it’s an American holiday for as and it reminds our own carnival celebrations. What is Halloween? According to Wikipedia Halloween or Hallowe'en (less commonly known as AllhalloweenAll Hallows' Eve,or All Saints' Eve is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It begins the observance of Allhallowtide,the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed. What are the festivities? A lot of pumpkins everywhere, Halloween costumes , trick or treat , Bon fires lots of parties and of course horror movies all the great horror movies have something to say about Halloween and since a love movies let’s see some of the best . Food? Well Halloween also created a lot of food culture that you eat specifically that day. Like pumpkin pies , pumpkin soup , lots of candies and everything with pumpkins 🎃.
