The weekend is once again here, I starred rewatching some of the phase four Marvel movies. And I will start with spider man
In my opinion the Final Swing in No Way Home is the best Final Swing we've ever gotten out of all the Spider-Man movies!
And why am I saying this? Believe me, it's not the After Marvel Movie Hype that gets me after every Marvel movie (this one was a masterpiece but eat me) and certainly Tobey's final swings were more epic and have left history, and Andrew's were beautiful and realistic but the key element that was missing from both of those excellent Franchises and Jon Watts' film succeeds here is that Spider-Man is a tragic character..
Holland's Spidey in the movie has now lost everyone and everything, he has no one in his life anymore, May is dead, his 2 Spider-Brothers have left and returned to their own universes and the whole world has completely forgotten about him, nevertheless, Peter does not give up, he makes the decision not to let his gift, to help people go to waste even though the consequences of what he does literally deprived him of everything, he steps on his feet again, starts from the beginning literally a new life and makes the decision to put the mask and suit back on, and there comes Giacchino's epic score to tie the whole thing together, with Spidey taking a very bittersweet final swing in the snow!
What Spider-Man represents as a character comes out beautifully in just one scene! Huge thumbs up to Marvel and Jon Watts!!
And a final comment about Tom Holland , lately it’s in every movie 😂😂😂
