The Walking Dead has a very special place in my heart and I've been very attached to the show since 2013. When I first heard about the show I thought it was going to be another zombie flick. But after the first episode, I was incredibly pissed off and the first season was gone right away. Rick Grimes' story and run in the series was what made me understand for the first time what a TV series means. Characters who either left us early, or lost the ball afterwards, a few characters who are still with us from the beginning to this day, all had something special to say. Even the bad guys. I am very sorry that after two terrible seasons (7th and 8th) the series lost audience and they did not stay long to see the improvement of the series and its new course. In a few days we have a finale and although sequels have been announced (a series with Daryl in France, a series with Maggie and Negan in Manhattan, a series with Rick and Michonne to close their story) the main story closes after many years and many ups and downs. Finally, a few words about some individual characters
Rick Grimes: the protagonist I relate to more than any other the first character development that impressed me
Daryl Dixon: everyone's daddy, thankfully after the awful seasons he stopped being a buffoon and evolved even more
Maggie Rhee: probably the most painful character in the series, incredibly badass
Carol Pelletier: what to say and crazy scene to remember
Shane Walsh: who we all probably would be no matter how good we think we are
Negan: the best of them all. The best character development in the entire series
Let's hope for a final with as few holes as possible on Sunday Let’s all appreciate such shows
