I know I am not much of a TV person, but whenever I get the opportunity to see a good movie or show, I try to relish every single moment of it. I could go off for days and then return to finish it off and it'd still feel as good. I love art. I love when people create magic with their work. I love deep mindful work. I have had this show for weeks now. After getting the recommendation from a friend I just abandoned it. Today is a weekend, albeit the weather was shit, I realized I haven't used my TV in a while so I turned it on and binged every single second of the show, and WOW.
ABOUT
The show follows the adventure of a low-level FBI agent who somehow gets entangled in a murder. As he tries to protect his client turn partner and salvage the situation, he continues to plunge deeper into an even my twisted web of lies, treason, and betrayal going on in the White House. It becomes a race for his life, that of his partner, and protecting the nation's most important person.
THE GOOD
There is so much good in this movie. We've had some great shows pop out this year. The third season of The Witcher was released this year. A show I have been anticipating for so long. Hijack was also released. And then there are the top-tier movies like Extraction 2, Fast and Furious, The Flash (which I thought was great), etc. The bottom line is that a lot of fine TV works came out this year, and amidst all that masterclass, I think this show sits right up there. Let's start with the stellar acting. The director employed the finest hands, yet they weren't the main protagonists. D. B. Woodside who I can't forget after his epic Amenadiel moments. Fong Chau, etc. The acting on this one was near perfect. The plot was finely constructed. Simple, yet Intelligently mapped out. Without it being complicated or too code-ridden to decipher. The protagonist's character development was impressive. I enjoyed this one.
THE BAD
The way the first season ended, you'd think it was a perfect ending but no, the directors still have something up their sleeves. I feel like it would be a stretch at this point. But then again, maybe the two main characters might become partners, who knows? It had a somewhat slow start though, as it felt predictable. Not much wrong to say about this one, to be honest.
STREAM OR SKIP
STREAM. It gives you every single reason to stream it. Ten solid episodes of about forty minutes of action-packed thriller and conspiracy are definitely bound to excite you. Gotta love that silky smooth hair statement from Hong Chau too, hehe. A fine Netflix show. My rating would be 4.8 out of 5. Go freaking see it.

Thank you for reading my film review-ish. I enjoyed seeing the movie. If you haven't I'd recommend you see it, and if you have, share your thoughts with me in the comments. Till next time. Cheers
