Hello to all the members of this community and cosplay lovers! Once again, I call @yetsimar @irenenavarroart @tesmoforia @tegoshei @ruffatotmeee @jude.villarta @omokhafue and all BL lovers, because the time has come to show you a small photo shoot of one of the protagonists of the remake of the BL anime by Yoshihara Rieko, Ai no kusabi ✨

Ai no kusabi is my favorite BL so far, but don't think this is the first time I cosplay about it, since my first cosplay was precisely Iason Mink, the other protagonist (a cosplay that I would like to repeat in the future with its respective improvements). But in this case, I already had the material at home for quite some time and I put off making it for one reason or another, until finally, I decided to sit down and sew it to attend the JinxFest, an exclusive event for BL lovers.

Even though my favorite version of Yoshihara's Novel is precisely the one from the 90s, I confess that I like Riki's Pet outfit in the 2012 remake better (unlike Iason, whose 90s outfits I like much more than the ones in the remake), at least as a cosplayer. Well, it was much more comfortable for me to wear that outfit, since I would only have to make two pieces: The top and the pants, whose procedure I showed on the platform.

I had some difficulties sewing the cosplay, but it was mostly because of the type of fabric I bought, but I still loved the end result, especially how the details on Riki's pet tag turned out (it probably has Z107M marked on it, although it can't be seen in the animation). I added the chain as a symbol of Iason's oppression towards Riki, but it would have been great to have a cosplayer do Iason to make it even cooler 😳

Well, I guess I could tell you about my experience after wearing the cosplay. It was quite comfortable, actually, I was a bit afraid that the pants wouldn't fit me well, that they would tear at some point or that they would bother me, but not only did they fit me, but they felt super light, so I'm even thinking about wearing them in everyday situations, even with the top haha. I was also afraid that the shoes (which are kind of old), would lose their soles halfway through, but that didn't happen either 😆 Is this a cosplay I would wear again? Definitely yes.

I wasn't surprised that no one knew who the character was at the event until I showed them the image, considering that the remake is from 2012 😅 but, even so, I'm very happy to have finally completed this project and that it turned out pretty decent in my opinion. If you like BL and haven't read the novel or seen Ai no Kusabi, I invite you to do so, it's a fascinating story ✨

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de ésta comunidad y amantes del cosplay! Una vez más, llamo a @yetsimar @irenenavarroart @tesmoforia @tegoshei @ruffatotmeee @jude.villarta @omokhafue y a todo amante del BL, porque ha llegado el momento de mostrarles una pequeña sesión de fotos de uno de los protagonistas del remake del anime BL de Yoshihara Rieko, Ai no kusabi ✨

Ai no kusabi hasta la fecha, se trata de mi BL favorito, pero no crean que es la primera vez que hago cosplay sobre ello, ya que mi primer cosplay fue precisamente de Iason Mink, el otro protagonista (cosplay que me gustaría volver a repetir en un futuro con sus respectivas mejoras). Pero en el caso de éste, ya tenía bastante tiempo con el material en casa y posponía la fabricación por equis o ye razón, hasta que por fin, me animé a sentarme a coserlo para asistir al JinxFest, un evento exclusivo para amantes del BL.

A pesar de que mi versión favorita de la Novela de Yoshihara, es precisamente la de los años 90, confieso que me gusta más la vestimenta de Pet de Riki, en el remake del 2012 (a diferencia de Iason, cuyos trajes de los 90 me gustan mucho más que los del remake), al menos en el ámbito de cosplayer. Pues me resultaba mucho más cómodo usar ese atuendo, puesto que tendría que elaborar solamente dos piezas: El top y el pantalón, cuyo procedimiento mostré en la plataforma.

Tuve algunas dificultades a la hora de coser el cosplay, pero fue más que nada ante el tipo de tela que compré, aunque de todas formas, adoré el resultado final, sobre todo cómo quedaron los detalles de la placa de Pet de Riki (seguramente tiene el Z107M marcado, aunque en la animación no se aprecia). La cadena la añadí como símbolo de la opresión de parte de Iason hacia Riki, aunque hubiera sido genial tener a un cosplayer que hiciera a Iason para que hubiera sido más genial 😳

Bien, creo que podría hablarles acerca de mi experiencia luego de haber usado el cosplay. Fue bastante cómodo la verdad, tenía cierto temor de que el pantalón no me hubiera quedado bien, que se rompiera en algún punto o que me molestara, pero no sólo me quedaba al cuerpo, sino que se sentía súper ligero, así que hasta estoy pensando en usarlo en situaciones de mi vida diaria, incluso hasta el top jaja. También tenía miedo que los zapatos (que son algo viejos), se quedaran sin suela a medio camino, pero tampoco ocurrió 😆 ¿Es un cosplay que volvería usar? Definitivamente sí.

No me sorprendió que nadie supiera quien era el personaje en el evento hasta que les mostraba la imagen, siendo que el remake es del 2012 😅 pero, aún así estoy muy contenta de haber por fin realizado éste proyecto y que quedase bastante decente a mi parecer. Si te gusta el BL y no has leído la novela ni visto Ai no Kusabi, te invito a hacerlo, es una historia fascinante ✨
