Hello to all anime lovers! I recently had the opportunity to finish seeing a series of comic and musical genre, pretty good. Having seen in the past k-on, “Anime of this style, where a group of schoolgirls decide to form their own band,” I thought it would be the same formula. Only that Bocchi the Rock! It has a fairly peculiar element and is that, we will constantly see one of the members of the band fighting with its intense social anxiety.

The anime plot revolves around Hitori Goto, a pretty shy and retracted girl that since she has been serious, she has had serious problems to socialize. This always was taking her to be set apart in class and obviously, not having friends. After watching an extrudist done on a Youth Rock band, it is impacted before one of the members of the band. The guitarist, mentions the interviewer that when he was in high school, he was an introverted person, but then he became famous and loved by people, showing that timid people can be heard. Completely motivated when he feel identified with that young man, the girl borrows her guitar to her father (who likes rock music) and he accesses, pleased with the sudden tilt of her daughter to be interested in music. Since then, Hitori draws the goal of learning to play the guitar and become a famous person, all with the aim of having the attention of those who would be his followers, as well as participate in the festivals of high school. In a self-taught and after three years of Ardua dedication, the girl becomes incredibly good at the guitar.

Only his shyness and social anxiety, always prevented him from making himself known before his high school fellow, demonstrating his talent only online, where under the name GuitarHero, is famous and has many subscribers. But, in spite of this, the sorrow of Hitori is deep, remaining in anonymity, secluded from the world and recording covers in the closet of his room. One of his desire is to be part of a musical band with other girls of his age and finally, have friends with whom to share their tastes in common.

Hitori has tried everything in his secondary school, his companions realice that she is a rocker and thus, attracting the attention of other guys who have related tastes. From Levar music CDs and leave them at your desk, in view of all; Use “Rocker Accessories” and until wearing your guitar. But all without success. Nobody talks to her, nobody is approaching and hitori, always comforted on his success online. Although it is a temporary well-being when realizing reality: it is alone.

Once there, Hitori feels quite comfortable, being that the place reminds him a bit of the enclosure he has inside his closet. Although, as expected, it was also intimidated with the other people who are on site, especially with Ryo Yamada, the bassist of the band. Once gathered, it is confessed that the band is named by name Kessoku Band and that they also walk in search of vocalist. Hitori observes the scores and trusts in being able to touch the songs … Only that his fear of the public will make her resort to touching inside a cardboard box.

Despite the anxiety, the experience awakens in Hitori the desire to strive in Kessoku Band to make it a recognized band. So he promises Nijika and Ryo, to give the best of herself to be before the public in future presentations.

It’s a pretty fun anime. The exaggerated reactions of Hitori before the situations that generate anxiety, cause a lot of grace. The animation is very beautiful, like the soundtrack. But without a doubt, what I liked most, was the concept of the introverted person fighting with their social anxiety. I could not avoid feeling identified in this aspect, since from a child, I was a shy person with problems when it comes to socializing at school. I know exactly what it feels like to panic when you have to speak in public or even, with a single person. But the positive thing is to see, how in spite of how uncomfortable it is and that sometimes, things do not come out of the way you want, Hitori still strive to fight against her introversion and the way her friends help her. At first, Hitori thinks that his desire to become famous and have followers, is something empty, but then, she discovers that what he enjoys most is to touch the other members of the band and have bows of friendship with them. It is very nice. I recommend them.

¡Hola a todos los amantes del anime! Hace poco tuve la oportunidad de terminar de ver una serie de género cómico y musical, bastante buena. Habiendo visto en el pasado K-ON, -otro anime de éste estilo, en donde un grupo de colegialas deciden formar su propia banda-, pensé que se trataría de la misma fórmula. Sólo que Bocchi the Rock! cuenta con un elemento bastante peculiar y es que, constantemente veremos a uno de los integrantes de la banda luchando con su intensa ansiedad social.

La trama del anime gira en torno de Hitori Goto, una chica bastante tímida y retraida que desde pequeña, ha tenido serios problemas para socializar. Esto siempre la llevaba a estar apartada en clase y evidentemente, a no tener amigos. Luego de ver por televisión una extrevista hecha a una banda de rock juvenil, queda impactada ante uno de los integrantes de la banda. El guitarrista, menciona al entrevistador que cuando estaba en secundaria, era una persona introvertida, pero que luego se volvió famoso y amado por la gente, demostrando que las personas tímidas pueden ser escuchadas. Completamente motivada al sentirse identificada con aquel joven, la chica le pide prestada su guitarra a su padre (quien gusta de la música rock) y él accede, complacido con la repentina inclinación de su hija a interesarse en la música. Desde entonces, Hitori se traza la meta de aprender a tocar la guitarra y convertirse en una persona famosa, todo con el objetivo de tener la atención de los que serían sus seguidores, así como participar en los festivales de la secundaria. De manera autodidacta y luego de tres años de ardua dedicación, la chica se vuelve increíblemente buena en la guitarra.

Sólo que su timidez y su ansiedad social, siempre le impidieron darse a conocer ante sus compañeros de la secundaria, demostrando su talento sólo de forma online, en donde bajo el nombre de GuitarHero, es famosa y tiene muchos suscriptores. Pero, a pesar de ello, el pesar de Hitori es profundo, permaneciendo en el anonimato, apartada del mundo y grabando covers en el armario de su habitación. Uno de sus deseos es formar parte de una banda musical con otras chicas de su edad y por fin, tener amigas con las que compartir sus gustos en común.

Hitori ha intentado de todo para que en su secundaria, sus compañeros se den cuenta de que ella es una rockera y así, atraer la atención de otros chicos que tengan gustos afines. Desde levar Cds de música y dejarlos en su escritorio, a la vista de todos; usar "accesorios de rockeros" y hasta llevando su guitarra. Pero todo sin éxito. Nadie habla con ella, nadie se le acerca y Hitori, siempre se reconforta en su éxito on line. Aunque se trata de un bienestar pasajero al darse cuenta de la realidad: Está sola.

Para su fortuna, una chica que la observa lamentándose en un parque, no duda en acercarse a ella al ver que lleva consigo una guitarra. Se presenta como Nijika Ijichi y le pide que toque en su banda, en donde ella es baterista, ya que necesitan con urgencia a una guitarrista. Hitori, entra en pánico. No estando acostumbrada a socializar, la repentina petición de la chica la deja sin palabras. Aún así, acaba siguiendo a la chica hasta el local en donde se se encuentra su banda.

Una vez allí, Hitori se siente bastante cómoda, siendo que el lugar le recuerda un poco al encierro que tiene dentro de su armario. Aunque, como era de esperarse, también se intimida con las otras personas que se encuentran en el sitio, sobre todo con Ryo Yamada, la bajista de la banda. Una vez reunidas, se le confiesa que la banda lleva por nombre Kessoku band y que también, andan en busca de vocalista. Hitori observa las partituras y confía en poder tocar las canciones... únicamente que su miedo al público la hará recurrir a tocar dentro de una caja de cartón.

A pesar de la ansiedad, la experiencia despierta en Hitori el deseo por esforzarse en Kessoku band para hacerla una banda reconocida. Así que le promete a Nijika y Ryo, dar lo mejor de sí misma por mostrarse ante el público en futuras presentaciones.

Es un anime bastante divertido. Las exageradas reacciones de Hitori ante las situaciones que le generan ansiedad, causan bastante gracia. La animación es muy bonita, al igual que la banda sonora. Pero sin lugar a dudas, lo que más me gustó, fue el concepto de la persona introvertida luchando con su ansiedad social. No pude evitar sentirme identificada en éste aspecto, ya que desde pequeña, fui una persona tímida y con problemas a la hora de socializar en la escuela. Sé exactamente lo que se siente entrar en pánico cuando tienes que hablar en público o incluso, con una sola persona. Pero lo positivo es ver, cómo a pesar de lo incómodo que lo resulta y de que a veces, las cosas no salgan de la manera que desee, Hitori aún se esfuerce en luchar contra su introversión y la forma en que sus amigas, la ayudan con ello. Al principio, Hitori piensa que su deseo de volverse famosa y tener seguidores, es algo vacío, pero luego, ella descubre que lo que más disfruta es tocar junto a los demás miembros de la banda y tener lazos de amistad con ellas. Es muy lindo. Se los recomiendo.
