¡Hola a todos! Hoy vengo a hablarles de un anime que me gusta mucho, ya que está lleno de mucho color y brillo. Y es que literalmente, la mayoría del tiempo hay brillos en cada escena del anime. Se trata de NANBAKA, una comedia sin sentido, con chicos lindos y muchos brillos por doquier.

Hi everyone! Today I come to talk to you about an anime that I really like, since it is full of color and brightness. And it is that literally, most of the time there are highlights in each scene of the anime. It's about NANBAKA, a no-nonsense comedy, with cute boys and lots of glitter everywhere.

La serie está ambientada en una prisión de máxima seguridad de nombre NANBA, en donde sólo los criminales más peligrosos (o más escurridizos) se encuentras tras sus rejas. Mientras que los protagonistas, cuatro reos con diferentes crímenes y personalidades, buscan la manera de escapar diariamente, acabando con la paciencia de los guardias. Los cuales son hombres con la mejor capacitación para poder mantener el orden dentro de Nanba, aunque los protagonistas no se los pongan tan fácil.

The series is set in a maximum security prison called NANBA, where only the most dangerous (or most elusive) criminals are behind bars. While the protagonists, four inmates with different crimes and personalities, seek a way to escape daily, ending the guards' patience. Which are men with the best training to be able to maintain order within Nanba, although the protagonists do not make it so easy for them.

El prisionero 1315 responde al nombre de Jyugo, es un japonés que prácticamente se crío en prisión. Es un amo del escape, la llave maestra, pues es capaz de resolver toda clase de puzzles y abrir cualquier cerradura, exceptuando la que lleva en las manos y piernas, las cuales se las colocó un individuo al cual busca con fervor. Es la motivación de sus compañeros para intentar escapar de la prisión. A pesar de su extraordinaria capacidad, suele ser bastante cabeza hueca.

Prisoner 1315 goes by the name of Jyugo, he is a Japanese who practically grew up in prison. He is a master of escape, the master key, because he is capable of solving all kinds of puzzles and opening any lock, except the one he carries on his hands and legs, which were placed by an individual whom he seeks with fervor. It is the motivation of his companions to try to escape from prison. Despite his extraordinary ability, he is usually quite an airhead.

Uno es el prisionero 1311. Es un británico y apostador empedernido, tiene una buena percepción para los juegos de azar y su debilidad son las mujeres, razón por la cual se escapaba de todas las prisiones en las que estuvo, ya que tenía algún encuentro romántico al que no podía faltar. Tiene una actitud bastante alegre y suele tratar de mantener la fraternidad entre sus compañeros, sobre todo con Jyugo.

One is prisoner 1311. He is a British and inveterate gambler, he has a good perception for gambling and his weakness is women, which is why he escaped from all the prisons he was in, since he had some romantic encounter that he could not miss. He has a quite cheerful attitude and usually tries to maintain brotherhood among his companions, especially with Jyugo.

Nico es un chico estadounidense que cuando estaba en las calles, era utilizado como mula para el transporte de droga, eso le ocasionó una alteración en su organismo y una adicción que debe ser tratada con medicamentos para mantenerlo controlado, pero dado que le tiene miedo a las agujas, acabó escapando de prisión. En Nanba lleva el número 1325 y toma sus medicinas sin rechistar porque se los dan en pastillas masticables sabor a frutas, lo cual le encanta. Se comporta como todo un niño, es el más infantil del grupo y es fanático del anime y manga, así como de la cultura japonesa.

Nico is an American boy who when he was on the streets, was used as a mule to transport drugs, this caused an alteration in his body and an addiction that must be treated with medications to keep it under control, but since He is afraid of needles, he ended up escaping from prison. In Nanba he wears the number 1325 and takes his medicines without question because they are given in fruit-flavored chewable tablets, which he loves. He behaves like a child, is the most childish of the group and is a fan of anime and manga, as well as Japanese culture.

Finalmente (de los protagonistas) tenemos a Rock otro prisionero estadounidense que porta el número 1369. Es bastante peleonero. Prácticamente se la pasaba metido en peleas a cada prisión que iba, sobre todo por lo pésimos de las comidas. Pero como en Nanba la comida es deliciosa, logra apaciguar su temperamento. A pesar de su aspecto temerario, cuida mucho de sus amigos, con los cuales comparte muchas locas aventuras.

Finally (of the protagonists) we have Rock another American prisoner who wears the number 1369. He is quite a fighter. He was practically involved in fights in every prison he went to, especially because of the terrible food. But since the food at Nanba is delicious, it manages to appease his temper. Despite his reckless appearance, he takes great care of his friends, with whom he shares many crazy adventures.

Nanbaka es una serie bastante divertida, llena de mucha comedia, momentos absurdos y un intento por introducir una trama "seria", que es fácilmente ocultada con los brillos, colores y bromas. El nombre de la serie contiene la palabra "baka" que significa "idiota", lo cual describe a la perfección las situaciones absurdas en las que se meterán los prisioneros insistiendo una y otra vez de salir de tan pintoresca prisión, la cual es gobernada por la alcaidesa Momoko, una mujer extremadamente severa y sanguinaria... pero que está perdidamente enamorada de uno de los guardias, sólo que éste le tiene miedo.

Nanbaka is quite a funny series, filled with a lot of comedy, wacky moments, and an attempt to introduce a "serious" plot, which is easily hidden with brightness, colors, and jokes. The name of the series contains the word "baka" which means "idiot", which perfectly describes the absurd situations that the prisoners will get into, insisting over and over again to get out of such a picturesque prison, which is governed by the warden Momoko, an extremely severe and bloodthirsty woman ... but who is madly in love with one of the guards, only that he is afraid of her.

Lo que hace a éste anime diferente a otros ambientados a temas carcelarios va más allá de su humor, los presidiaros poseen diseños muy coloridos, desde el color de cabello hasta el color de sus uñas 💅 y en todo momento, estrellas y brillos resplandecen alrededor dándole a la escenas un toque de belleza, aunque el fondo sea al final una cárcel. El estilo tan peculiar de la serie se debe a que la autora Shō Futamata, es una Gal, es decir, es una mujer amante de la belleza y de la moda. Basándose, como ella lo ha mencionado, en la subcultura japonesa Gal en éste anime. Eso lo hace muy llamativo visualmente, al menos para mí que soy fanática de los diseños de personajes coloridos, me enamoré de la creación de esta autora.

What makes this anime different from others set on prison themes goes beyond its humor, the inmates have very colorful designs, from the color of their hair to the color of their nails 💅 and at all times, stars and glitters shine around giving it to the scenes a touch of beauty, although the background is in the end a prison. The peculiar style of the series is due to the fact that the author Shō Futamata is a Gal, that is, she is a woman who loves beauty and fashion. Drawing, as she has mentioned, on the Japanese Gal subculture in this anime. That makes it very visually striking, at least for me who am a fan of colorful character designs, I fell in love with the creation of this author.

Es un anime perfecto para despejar la mente, sobre todo si te gusta la comedia absurda y sin sentido. Cuenta con dos temporadas en la cuales la segunda adquiere un tono más "serio", pero siempre manteniendo ese nivel de locura que busca hacer reír al espectador.

It is a perfect anime to clear your mind, especially if you like absurd and nonsensical comedy. It has two seasons in which the second takes on a more "serious" tone, but always maintaining that level of madness that seeks to make the viewer laugh.

Los temas de apertura y cierre son igual de llamativos que el mismo anime, con canciones divertidas que contrastan a la perfección con lo que veremos a lo largo de los episodios.

The opening and closing themes are just as striking as the anime itself, with funny songs that contrast perfectly with what we will see throughout the episodes.

En lo personal, me fascina éste anime porque soy fanática de la cultura lolita y todas las subculturas de la misma, por lo que, las series ambientadas en esos estilos, me parecen muy curiosas. De hecho, me gustaría hablarles luego de otras series que hablan de éste estilo de vestir de los japoneses, que no se trata sólo de la ropa, sino que lo vuelven su modo de vida.
