It's almost Halloween! I remember watching several horror films back in the day on Halloween night. I personally love horror movies, but people around me aren't that into it. Well, my papa recently started watching some horror films with me, though.
As you know, we have some family movie nights at home. I watch some films with my parents, but since mama isn't good with horror films, we usually cater to her preference. However, there is this "Halloween-themed" movie on Netflix called "Hubie Halloween". The main actor is Adam Sandler, so I thought *"Oh! This must be funny!"* And so, we decided to watch it. :)
The story revolves around a guy named "Hubie". He lives in a place called "Salem" which is known to be the origin of witches. Because of that, the celebration of Halloween in that place is very much sought after.
During the Halloween season, Hubie works as an official "Halloween Helper". His duty is to monitor and maintain the peace and order of Salem during this time of year. One thing though, Hubie is an object of bullying by almost everyone in their place. Whenever he rides his bicycle around or go to work, people throw stuff at him. Both kids and adults play pranks on him, but he doesn't do anything about it. He's a very kind and interesting guy.

As you have seen in the trailer, the whole place were enjoying the Halloween festivities, but something weird is happening. Some people have gone missing and what more, prior to the event, there's this strange new neighbor who recently got into the city and an incident of a patient escaping the mental institution. Do they have anything to do with the disappearances? Find out by watching the movie.
It's just sad, though... because Hubie was doing his best to protect Halloween, but when the first disappearance incident happened, nobody believed him. It was until more people had gone missing when the authorities tried to do something.

All in all, it's a movie befitting Halloween! It's spooky and pretty fun. Aside from that, we'd learn to value love, family, ourselves and our being human. :) It's a nice movie to watch with the family. Despite the spooky theme of the movie, mama who doesn't like such stuff enjoyed it as well.
