The FEAR STREET Trilogy

Review by @tegoshei · 1402d · of Fear Street

***To be very honest, the main reason I watched this movie series was because I saw Sadie Sink on the thumbnail.*** *lol*
> WARNING: May contain spoilers...
Since I saw Sadie Sink on Netflix, I have become a fan. She's actually a talented actress and perhaps her character from the series made me like her more. Anyway, in this post, I'm going to talk about a movie trilogy called ***THE FEAR STREET***.

What are the movies about?

The three movies, although interconnected, belong to 3 various timelines. I'd like to share what each movie is about. *You should also watch the movie in this order.*
#### PART ONE: 1994

The first movie started with a brutal killing in a mall situated in Shadyside, the murder capital of the US. As nicknamed, brutal killings aren't uncommon in this place. It happens every few years in various situations.
The main characters in this movie, a group of teenagers who were trying to unlock the secrets behind these killings. They're all tied up to one name, Sarah Fier, a cursed local witch.
As they were trying to find out more details, they were also busy hanging on for their dear life. The killers from the mall and the previous killings were back to attack them.
Then they stumbled upon an information about a certain person who survived the killing back in 1978. They then found themselves asking her for answers.

### PART TWO: 1978

A summer camp in Camp Nightwing was held in 1978. The participants were a bunch of teenagers both from the cursed Shadyside and the blessed Sunnyvale. The participants were having their usual bickering and competition against each other. Unknowingly, another cursed brutal killer was on the lose at their camp and started having a killing spree.
The happenings of this year was narrated by the survivor whose help was asked by Deena and her friends. Deena is the main character from the first movie (1994). By understanding what happened in the year 1978, they discovered more information which led them to seek the root of all this, the year when Sarah Fier's curse started.

PART THREE: 1666

The third movie has two parts.
In the first part, it showed what happened in 1666. The year when everything started. Situated in the Union (the place before it separated into Shadyside and Sunnyvale), an era of misfortune and bad luck happened to the town. As the people were seeking for answers, they ended up concluding that everything was caused by Sarah Fier. They called her a witch and executed her in a witch-hunt.
In the second part, Deena and her friends finally knew what really happened. They now know how and why it all started. Going back to 1994, the group of teenagers are working their way to end all of it once and for all. Will they be successful? Find out by watching the movie. haha

## What Do I Think About the Trilogy?

> Before I answer, please check out the trailer above.
Well, it was bloody fun and interesting to watch. Despite the fact that there were a lot of things happening in different timelines, it was easy to connect and understand. The thrill and anticipation was there. The jump scares were epic and the characters were all so amusing.
All three movies were exciting to watch that I finished them in one sitting. I also like the fact that the killers and the killings were somehow based from other horror films.
I also like the plot twist in the movie. I mean, who doesn't like plot twists, right? All in all, I enjoyed it. Well, it's not the best horror movies I've seen, but I'd actually watch these movies again. :)
So, if you're up for some bloody thrill, I recommend you watch this movie trilogy. :)

I really liked this trilogy, I'm a big fan of slashers so I found it extremely entertaining. The performances didn't seem like anything out of the ordinary to me, but I liked that it unfolded in several timelines and then mixed them up.

Overall it was entertaining, nothing memorable but that's to be expected in most slasher movies.

    Thanks for sharing ✌️

Hey there. I saw this trilogy last year and I really enjoyed it. The movies were one of the best I saw then and are very good horror films in my opinion. I loved the mystery and the narrative style. I also really loved the plot twist because it was so unexpected. For me, the trilogy was more mysterious than it was scary and that was the reason I was hooked and enjoyed it so much.

    Cheers!
