Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is an anime of adventure, action, drama, fantasy and of course the Isekai genre, is about a group of boys who are transferred to another world, but do not remember their past life, nor how they arrived and have in common that they must move forward in this unknown place, full of dangers.

Produced by TOHO animation, it has 12 episodes well distributed between the history, evolution and good logic of the series, whose broadcasting began on January 11, 2016 until March 28, 2016.

Currently available on crunchyroll site where I took capture to make gifs and editing some images for this publication.

Unlike other isekais, where the characters usually the protagonist has advances, acquires skills or weapons even in the first episodes where they accelerate the plot and its evolution is not noticeable this anime is totally opposite, which makes this series in my favorite.

The characters initially just begin to get used to their new life, they lack skills so much that an entire group is not able to defeat the weakest monsters, they progress looking to monetize their hunts obtaining resources to exchange for money and learn skills of the kind they decided, one of the most interesting things about this series is that the evolution is noticeable as the chapters progress, although the story practically focuses on the main character, it does not stop giving content to the secondary characters that are almost at par, to the point of understanding their personalities and based on that their way of acting is in accordance, at this point of the coherence of the system of fights adjusted to the skills according to their development and experience, this series is superior to others of the same genre.

Each of the characters has a different role, and this makes this balanced but at the same time helps to not be so monotonous with respect to what they can do, also must make use of intelligence and teamwork to overcome difficulties that will be presented throughout the adventure.

It has a considerable amount of secondary characters that although not all of them appear at all times, they contribute in some way to our group of adventurers, some with experience, others with their mentorship.

The animation style in some parts of the scenery despite not focusing so much on the details of realism and highlighting more than the animation of the characters as you know the budget soars the more details the project has, personally I thought it was perfect because it does not divert so much attention to get lost in the explanation of the rhythm of the plot.

Unfortunately the anime based on the light novels written by Ao Jumonji which is illustrated by Eiri Shirai to date there is no announcement, and only the first two volumes of the novel was adapted to anime, is one of the pending things I have since I was hooked on this amazing series.

It is one of the few survival series of the isekai genre whose characters and story evolve as they battle progressively, and depend on obtaining objects that must be taken from the monsters with which they can overcome, some have considerable intelligence so it is a challenge to have in the success of the mission.

If you have not yet seen this series I recommend you do so, it has characters that you will identify with, plot twists and above all it is entertaining at its own pace.
