I was able to see the film that took Guillermo del Toro fifteen years to make, a different story of Pinocchio than we are used to, not Disney-style with a calm and colorful innocence, but a rebellious, curious and talkative innocence, this It is, a family film that must be seen by all.

What was impressive for me in the story was the use of songs, which adds more vividness to the environment, but not songs that end up telling a story or are necessary for the plot, but to give color to it, a break from what happens to listen to a form of expression of the characters.

Pinocchio's shape is designed very well, more than anything because of the story he has of his creation in the movie, as well as his behind-the-scenes story, his attitude is that of a child who leaves home to see the world, without knowledge. that things are fragile or dangerous, he has the essence of any child five years old or less, his ingenuity is what many children would have and it is what makes him more human.

Although the main movie could be about learning not to tell lies, this one is about a being learning to be human, the difference between the old Disney version and Guillermo's is that this Pinocchio doesn't become human visually, but spiritual, coming to deliver a part of the magic that let him be as he was to save his father, giving himself completely to the human world.

It could have been more philosophical, talking about human feelings, mourning, or so I thought when I saw the scene where Pinocchio looks at a wooden God in a church asking: "Why do they like him and not me?" Something that could look like it could go to a darker place, but it's just a movie for the whole family.

Guillermo del Toro gives us specters taken from hell on many occasions, but this time, he brings out his purest side to show us a story full of light, Pinocchio is not just a movie made with details in clothing, settings, lights or The music is a job delivered by a filmmaker dedicated to delivering a story that moves people, even if it cost him fifteen years of his life and many dollars in between. Pude ver la película que le tomo quince años en realizar a Guillermo del Toro, una historia diferente de Pinocho de la que estamos acostumbrados, no al estilo Disney con una inocencia tranquila y llena de colores, sino una inocencia rebelde, curiosa y habladora, esta es, una película familiar que debe ser vista por todos.

Lo impactante para mí en la historia fue el uso de canciones, cosa que le agrega más vividez al entorno, pero no unas canciones que terminan narrando una historia o sea necesario para la trama, sino para darle color a la misma, un descanso de lo que sucede para escuchar una forma de expresión de los personajes.

La forma de Pinocho esta diseñada muy bien, más que nada por la historia que tiene de su creación en la película ademas de su historia detrás de cámara, su actitud es la de un niño que sale de su casa para conocer el mundo, sin conocimiento de que cosas son frágiles o peligrosas, tiene la esencia de un niño cualquiera de cinco años o menos, su ingenuidad es la que tendría muchos niños y es lo que lo hace más humano.

Aunque la película principal podría tratarse de un aprendizaje para no decir mentiras, esta trata de un ser que aprende a ser humano, la diferencia entre la versión antigua de Disney y la de Guillermo es que este Pinocho no se convierte en humano en forma visual, sino espiritual, llegando a entregar una parte de la magia que lo dejaba ser como era para salvar a su padre, entregándose completamente al mundo humano.

Podría haber sido más filosófica, de hablar sobre los sentimientos humanos, el luto, o eso pude pensar al ver la escena donde Pinocho mira a un Dios de madera en una iglesia preguntando: "¿Por qué lo quieren a él y no a mí?" Algo que podría verse como que podría ir a un lugar más oscuro, pero solo es una película para toda la familia.

Guillermo del Toro nos entrega espectros sacados del infierno en muchas ocasiones, pero en esta ocasión, saco su lado más puro para mostrarnos una historia llena de luz, Pinocho no es solo una película hecha con detalles en la ropa, los escenarios, las luces o la música, es un trabajo entregado por un cineasta dedicado a entregar una historia que conmueva a las personas, así le haya costado quince años de su vida y muchos dolares de por medio. Sin duda alguna, la recomiendo.
