"In 1897 Transylvania, the blood-drinking Count draws his plans against Victorian London." - IMDB

I started watching the new series Dracula on Netflix. It is a 3 episode mini series giving a new perspective on the story of Dracula. Each episode is 1.5 hours long and does a good job of mixing up the Dracula fantasy.
The series stars Claes Bang as Dracula and Dolly Wells as the main supporting character. Although I will say Dolly's character really steals the show.

Compared to Bram Stoker's Dracula, Netflix's adaptation is far darker and grittier. The new Dracula is more in your face and graphically horrific. Although I don't remember seeing Claes Bang in anything in the past, he absolutely nails the role of Dracula. Although without spoiling anything, I think Dolly Well's character is what I found most interesting and entertaining in the show.

When I first started the show, I had no idea it was only a mini series and there are no future seasons planed. I was hoping for a longer and future seasons but that's what it is.
I really liked the mystery feel to the second episode, although you as the viewer know the secret, it is fun to watch along as the rest of the cast struggle along.
