Debo admitir que este post contendrá spoilers de la serie Loki. He esperado suficiente tiempo como para confiar en que la mayoría de personas han terminado esta serie así que, si aún no la has visto, por favor ten discreción al leer este post. ¡Un abrazo!

Hace 2 meses vi Loki y creo que ha sido una de las series más completas que he visto hasta ahora. No soy un fan de las series largas, me suelo aburrir a mitad del camino, mi estilo de series son más las parecidas a Sherlock, pocos episodios y pocas temporadas, pero suficiente como para tener contento a un público. Una vez intenté ver Flash completamente, pero terminé abandonándola al final de la 3ra temporada.

El punto es: Loki. Es la primera serie de Marvel que decidí ver, no me sentí muy atraído por WandaVision porque sentí que no había tanta acción, tampoco por Falcon & The Winter Soldier porque me pareció muy nacionalista y también se enfocaba bastante en la inclusión forzada.

Recuerdo perfectamente como en Endgame muchísimas personas criticaron la escena exclusiva de heroínas porque era muy obvio que solamente querían forzar algo para las mujeres. ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre esa escena y el discurso "motivacional" que hizo Falcon al final de la serie? :P

Desde el comienzo de la serie sentí que Loki tenía un toque bastante atractivo: No aburría para nada. Sé que es una afirmación un poco apresurada a pesar de solo haber visto el primer capítulo, pero debo admitir que logró mantenerme viéndola atentamente desde el principio.

Esta serie se sitúa en la misma temporalidad donde ocurren todos los eventos de The Avengers, la primera película donde juntan a esta serie de superhéroes y enfrentándose a Loki quien planeaba conquistar la tierra para ese momento. La forma en la que construyeron al personaje me gustó muchísimo porque no hicieron que cambiara de un día a otro, solamente mostraron como progresivamente el personaje observó cómo su vida estaba enfrascada en lo más diminuto del poder y sus objetivos eran minúsculos comparados al potencial donde se encontraba ahora: La TVA.

A mi parecer sentía que a Marvel le faltaba mostrar mucho más respecto a todo lo que este universo contiene, me sentí realmente aliviado cuando nombraron una fuerza realmente poderosa que deja a algo como las gemas del infinito como si fueran algo diminuto y mostrando que en realidad el universo es algo muchísimo más grande y completamente desconocido para todo lo que hemos visto.

Resumidamente, la TVA es una agencia que se encarga de mantener el orden temporal del universo, presentándose como la máxima autoridad de control con respecto a lo que ocurre en un universo. Pero me encantó cómo en menos de 2 episodios todo lo imponente que nos habían mostrado fue destruido y atacado como si fuera cosa de cualquier otro día.

Son este estilo de detalles los que me hicieron estar muy atento a Loki desde el comienzo, porque hicieron un comienzo muy emocionante que me dejó esperando para el siguiente con una expectativa tremenda. No importa que haya parecido que en el comienzo de la serie pareciera que agotaron bastantes recursos para aumentar el hype de la serie, en realidad, mientras más avanzaba la serie, aún mejores eran los capítulos.

La construcción de cada personaje es bastante fluida y en ningún momento se siente como si uno de ellos estuviera llevándose una parte del tiempo considerablemente grande que aburriera un poco. Específicamente con Loki hicieron que reflexionara y tuviera un cambio realmente grande respecto a lo que conocíamos de su personaje.

También la adición de Sylvie a la vida de Loki nos permitió descubrir muchísimo más sobre su personaje. Nuestro protagonista no es tan despiadado y malvado como lo pintaban en todas las anteriores entregas (aunque considero que también habían indicios de que Loki estaba cambiando en Thor: Ragnarok, pero hay que siempre tener en cuenta que estos son Lokis distintos). Me agrada el verdadero protagonismo que este personaje tiene ahora en el universo ya que junto a Sylvie han logrado desentrañar los más misteriosos secretos relevantes a todo el multiverso.

Me encantó completamente que le hayan dado esta pareja a nuestro Loki porque esto sacó muchísimo más contenido de lo que creí. Sophia Di Martino fue definitivamente una increíble actriz para este personaje. No solamente fueron los dotes actorales quienes hicieron que este personaje fuera realmente genial, en realidad, el personaje como tal fue realmente útil para dar más sentido a la serie y también a la conclusión que se perseguía con esta.

En general, Loki realmente fue muy emocionante. Esta serie me mantuvo muy atento en cada capítulo y jamás llegó a cansarme en ningún capítulo. El final de esta serie fue uno de los mejores ya que nos permitió ver toda la importancia del multiverso y toooda la serie de sucesos que ocurrirán a partir de este momento.

Lo único que me disgustó un poco fue la forma en la que apareció Kang. Esperaba un personaje con una apariencia imponente y que se notara que era el jefe de todo. Pero es increíble cómo terminó siendo un simple humano con unos conocimientos realmente increíbles y que existe desde el comienzo de la existencia. Solamente ha estado allí manteniendo el orden para que sus otras variantes no comenzaran otra guerra multidimensional (¿cuál será la diferencia entre multidimensional y multiuniversal?)

Si me lo preguntas, definitivamente recomendaría esta serie a cualquiera. Es muy buena y la vería por segunda vez si hace falta.

I must admit that this post will contain spoilers for the Loki series. I've waited long enough to trust that most people have finished this series so, if you haven't seen it yet, please use discretion when reading this post. hugs!

I watched Loki 2 months ago and I think it has been one of the most complete series I've seen so far. I'm not a fan of long series, I tend to get bored half way through, my style of series are more Sherlock-like, few episodes and few seasons, but enough to keep an audience happy. I once tried to watch Flash completely, but ended up abandoning it at the end of the 3rd season.

The point is: Loki. It's the first Marvel series I decided to watch, I wasn't really drawn to WandaVision because I felt there wasn't as much action, neither was Falcon & The Winter Soldier because it seemed too nationalistic and also focused quite a bit on forced inclusion.

I remember perfectly how in Endgame many, many people criticized the heroine-only scene because it was so obvious that they just wanted to force something for women. What's the difference between that scene and the "motivational" speech Falcon made at the end of the series? :P

From the beginning of the series I felt that Loki had a very appealing touch: he was not boring at all. I know that's a bit of a hasty statement despite only having seen the first episode, but I must admit that it managed to keep me watching attentively from the beginning.

This series is set in the same time frame where all the events of The Avengers, the first movie where they put together this series of superheroes and confronted Loki who was planning to conquer the earth by that time. I really liked the way they built the character because they didn't make him change from one day to the next, they just showed how the character progressively observed how his life was engrossed in the tiniest of power and his goals were minuscule compared to the potential where he was now: TVA.

To me I felt that Marvel lacked to show much more regarding everything that this universe contains, I was really relieved when they named a really powerful force that leaves something like the infinity gems as if they were something tiny and showing that in reality the universe is something much, much bigger and completely unknown to everything we have seen.

In short, the TVA is an agency in charge of maintaining the temporal order of the universe, presenting itself as the ultimate controlling authority regarding what happens in a universe. But I loved how in less than 2 episodes everything awesome they had shown us was destroyed and attacked as if it was just another day's thing.

It is this kind of details that made me be very attentive to Loki from the beginning, because they made a very exciting beginning that left me waiting for the next one with a tremendous expectation. It doesn't matter that it seemed that in the beginning of the series it seemed that they exhausted quite a few resources to increase the hype of the series, in reality, the more the series progressed, the better the chapters got.

The build up of each character is quite fluid and at no point does it feel like one of them is taking a considerably large chunk of time that it gets a little boring. Specifically with Loki they made him reflect and have a really big change from what we knew of his character.

Also the addition of Sylvie to Loki's life allowed us to discover a hell of a lot more about his character. Our protagonist is not as ruthless and evil as he was portrayed in all the previous installments (although I think there were also hints that Loki was changing in Thor: Ragnarok, but we must always keep in mind that these are different Lokis). I like the real prominence that this character now has in the universe as together with Sylvie they have managed to unravel the most mysterious secrets relevant to the entire multiverse.

I absolutely loved that they gave this pairing to our Loki because it brought out a hell of a lot more content than I thought it would. Sophia Di Martino was definitely an amazing actress for this character. It wasn't just the acting chops that made this character really great, actually, the character as such was really helpful in making more sense of the series and also the conclusion that was being pursued with this one.

Overall, Loki really was very exciting. This series kept me very attentive in each chapter and I never got tired of it in any chapter. The ending of this series was one of the best as it allowed us to see all the importance of the multiverse and all the series of events that will happen from this point on.

The only thing that upset me a bit was the way Kang appeared. I was expecting a character with an imposing appearance and that you could tell he was the boss of everything. But it's amazing how he ended up being a simple human with some really incredible knowledge and has been around since the beginning of existence. He's just been there keeping order so that his other variants wouldn't start another multidimensional war (what's the difference between multidimensional and multiuniversal?).

If you ask me, I would definitely recommend this series to anyone. It's very good and I would watch it a second time if need be.
