Troy Mayfield is a genius teenage programmer , son to Kate who own a games company called Playfield. Troy with his friend has accidently make a potential investor cancel his interest their interest to invest to her mother company because he show their honest opinion to latest project that Playfield has working on which is full of bug and boring for them as a gamer. What Troy didnt know is the company is lack of financial and going to downturn .
Playfield consider a successful company when Troy father is still in charge , because he also a computer genius . But , they can grow as a competitive company since Troy father is not there anymore. Troy who has the talent and genius mind come to help her mother and become the mastermind of the company.
When he is in charge , he has turn everything that the company has work out because he believe that the games is boring. The other problem is he cant interact or work with his employer . He try to work with his own in everything to do the new games but they only have about 30 days to present the new game at Pixelcon.
As the story develop , his mom give him a morale support to start understanding his employer . She said that he exactly has the same problem with his father but his father manage to solve it and make them as their company strength . Here is the turning point to Troy , where he do the game with his team and start to brainstorm and make their last game and make it much more interesting.
Corporation between his employer and him is not he only problem their face . But they also face their competitor challenge who try to keep them down . The competitor even send virus to hack their system and even put a jammer to block their signal at the Pixelcon exhibition.
The game that they produce is " Wowwwww " . If the game come live in real life , i as a gamer will buy it . This is good movie , but i still suggest parental guide (PG) for the movie because the is many element of bad side that really happening in our real world such competing company which use bad trick to win. Overall , its a good movie for family time.
