Is an American fantasy-drama film starring Will Smith (as Howard Inlet), a successful advertising executive who has been diagnosed with depression following the loss of his young daughter. His friends who were also partners business, Whit (Edward Norton,) Simon (Michael Peña) and Claire (Kate Winslate) are very concerned about his mental and physical state, they try to help him by all means possible for two long years and although they feel his pain they are also very worried about the current state of the company.

Since the tragic death of his little girl, he neglected his work, was always alone, ate little, barely managed to sleep a few hours a day and spent days building giant domino buildings. Desde la trágica muerte de su pequeña descuidó sus labores, estaba siempre solo, comía poco, a duras penas lograba dormir escasas horas al día y pasaba días construyendo gigantes edificios de dominó. Todo ese descuido ocasiona que la empresa llegue a un estado crítico, ya que, Howard era el as bajo la manga de la empresa y sin su participación, todo se estaba desmoronando.

I've always found Will Smith's performance incredible when playing such tragic roles where he reflects with an scary ease how miserable his character is. He is a master at reflecting all that pain, desire to die, self-hatred, precarious circumstances and the lives of his characters. And at the same time he can show that fluency on stage where he looks like a fish in water, as if it was not hard at all, for him it is something as easy and natural as breathing. In this particular film he effortlessly showed how a father can lose himself, how he can hate everything and let his life go down the drain because he lost his precious daughter.

Siempre me ha parecido increíble la actuación de Will Smith al interpretar papeles tan trágicos donde refleja con una facilidad (que da miedo) lo miserable que es su personaje. Es un maestro para reflejar todo ese dolor, ganas de morir, odio por sí mismo, las circunstancias precarias y la vida de sus personajes. Y a su vez puede mostrar esa soltura en escena donde se ve como pez en el agua, como si no le costara en lo absoluto, para él es algo tan fácil y natural como respirar. En este cortometraje en particular mostró sin esfuerzo cómo un padre se puede perder a sí mismo, como puede odiar todo y dejar hechar su vida por la borda por haber perdido a su preciada hija.

I confess that when the movie started and I saw the main character Howard, I was expecting the typical role that Smith usually plays, a character in a misery that he didn't want to get out of, and in a way it was, I was not wrong about that, but the twists and the plot were somewhat fresh, I was delighted even when some of them I expected, I found others great.

La idea que al principio parece descabellada de esta película, es lo que la hace tan atractiva, confieso que cuando empezó la película y vi al protagonista Howard, esperaba el típico papel que Smith suele interpretar, a ese personaje sumido en una miseria de la cual no quería salir, y en cierta forma así fue, no estaba equivocado al respecto, pero los giros y la trama estuvieron algo frescos, quede encantado aunque algunos me los esperaba otros los encontré grandiosos.

The interesting and funny roles are played by the 3 actors who personify time, death and love, I do not plan to tell you anything ahead, because you can say this is the hook of the film, without them it would be just another movie, and that is why one of its genres is fantasy because of the role of these three. In fact it is very funny 'cause the way they are presented seems a little absurd, but they have a positive and important impact on the film.

Los papeles interesantes y divertidos los tienen los 3 actores que personifican al tiempo, la muerte y el amor, no tengo pensado adelantarles nada, pues se puede decir que ese es el gancho de la película, sin ellos sería una más, y por eso mismo uno de sus géneros es la fantasía por el papel de estos tres. De hecho es muy gracioso porque la forma en la que se prentan parece un poco absurda, pero tienen un impacto positivo e importante en la película.

I found the script of this film very adequate and not boring at all. This film is for all audiences but I think it is primarily aimed at those who are parents or adults. There are several lessons present here that shouldn't be ignored, for people who have sadly lost a child and for those who still have them with them, whether they have a good or bad relationship, this beautiful story will make you remember that you have to accept in order to move on, that your actions have repercussions on others, especially the ones you love and also if you have made a mistake, there is always something that can be done to make things better.

El libreto de este filme me pareció adecuado y para nada aburrido. Esta película es para todo público pero pienso que esta dirigida principalmente a aquellos que son padres o adultos. Hay varias lecciones presentes que no se deberían ignorar, tanto para las personas que lastimosamente han perdido un hijo como para los que aún los tienen consigo, ya sea que tengan una relación buena o mala, esta bonita historia te hará recordar que hay que aceptar para poder seguir adelante, que tus acciones tienen repercusiones en los demás, especialmente en los que amas y también que si te has equivocado, siempre hay algo que se puede hacer para mejorar las cosas.

Apart from Howard, you can also see how his friends have their own conflicts to deal with: the rejection of a son for making a mistake, those who do everything they can to hide an illness from their family with the mistaken idea that it is for their "good" and also show the consequences that can be left by putting off something you always wanted in your life but didn't make time for it, and by the time you had planned to do it it was already too late. Many lessons, new choices and things to think about are some of the effects this story will cause in you.

A parte de Howard, también se puede ver como sus amigos tienen sus propios conflictos a los que se deben enfrentar: el rechazo de un hijo por haber cometido un error, aquellos que hacen todo lo posible por ocultar una enfermedad a su familia con la equivocada idea de que es por su "bien" y también muestran las consecuencias que puede dejar el aplazar algo que siempre quisiste en tu vida pero no hiciste tiempo para ello y para cuando tenías pensado hacerlo ya era muy tarde. Muchas lecciones, nuevas elecciones y cosas en que pensar son unos de los efectos que provocará en ti esta historia.

Although it is a 2016 movie, I saw it recently and honestly I had a long time without seeing a movie of this type that I liked so much. The truth is that Will Smith is one of my favorites as well as Eduard Norton, both are excellent actors that I always enjoy seeing on the big screen and once again, they didn't disappoint me. I hope you go watch it, I'm sure you will thank me, I personally recommend it.

Aunque es una película del 2016, la vi hace poco y honestamente tenía tiempo sin ver una película de este tipo que me gustara tanto. La verdad es que Will Smith es de mis favoritos al igual que Eduard Norton, ambos son excelentes actores a los que siempre disfruto ver en la gran pantalla y una vez más, no me defraudaron. Espero te animes a verla estoy seguro de que me lo agradecerás, la recomiendo personalmente.
