For the most part, this is a slow paced movie about a journey of two sisters with polar opposite personalities. One of them studied a lot and got herself a job as an executive and has no husband or kids... while the other got pregnant as a teenager, never cared for school and end up working in the fish market and raising the kid alone.
The movie starts at the funeral of their mother. Shortly after, both sisters go on a road trip through South Korea in search of the father of the younger sister - she is determined to find him and ask him why he left. Apparently, they have the same mother but different fathers.
After the disappearance of the father, both girls were raised by their aunt and the relationship from the sisters with their aunt couldn't be more different. The hardworking one hates her aunt, while the older sister loves her aunt. This feels a bit odd, seeing they were raised side by side. 🤔
These relationships are the core of the movie and, as the movie progresses, we begin to understand their feelings... but it's only at the very end that a unexpected twist comes to shed light into the matter.
Their personalities are so different that they keep having arguments and discussions, which turns the ride into a difficult one... However, it's that ride and those fights that lead to the unexpected conclusion of the film, when everything is explained in perfect detail and the younger sister - as well as the viewer - can finally see the whole picture as clear as water. 😉
Where was the father of the younger sister, after all? That is a very good question... and the answer comes at the end, as the pieces of the puzzle are finally put together. 🤓

Well, you've probably guessed by the images and the poster that this is a South Korean picture, so you will surely need the subtitles for this one. You will need to be quite focused as you watch the movie because if you miss some of the dialogues, you will miss the whole point of the story. 🙄
The main characters, Myung-Eun - the younger sister - and Myung-Joo - the older one - are played by Shin Min-A and Kong Hyo-Jin, respectively. They deliver a good performance all the way through, both in the more funnier moments and in the saddest ones.
The rest of the cast plays very small parts and their performances are very short.
The scenery keeps on changing - from city to the countryside - and we get to see beautiful sights of South Korea.
The storytelling is slow but never dull. In the end, we understand how scenes that appeared to be less important on the beginning make perfect sense and fit the story perfectly.
All in all, this is a good Drama with fine touches of humour all along. It's an interesting flick and not a boring one. The final twist will probably make your jaw drop and it's well worth the wait. 😊
