After what felt like an eternity, the second season of Alice in Bonderland is finally here! If you have never heard of the show, it's something like a combination of hunger games, squid games, cube and saw. If you have enjoyed any of the aforementioned, chances are you will love this show.

Alice in Borderland (Japanese: 今際の国のアリス, Hepburn: Imawa no Kuni no Arisu) is a 2020 Japanese science fiction thriller drama streaming television series based on the manga of the same name, by Haro Aso. Directed by Shinsuke Sato, the series stars Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya as allies trapped in an abandoned Tokyo, where they are forced to compete in dangerous games, the type and difficulty of which are determined by playing cards. After surviving their first game, players receive more info and spoilers

The show made an appearance around the same time with Squid Games, although it didn't made a similar bang. Imo a pity, as it's equally good.

Really strong acting, special effects on equal par to Hollywood, lots and lots of action, great and original story, superb character building etc etc. Everything is just damn great.

I just finished watching the second episode of season two and so far the show continues to be excellent and stay fresh. Can't wait to binge watch the rest tomorrow at work 🤫😂

Btw, I don't have an opinion on the manga and whether it stays faithful to it. And honestly I don't care. Who the fuck even reads black and white comics in 2022?!

If you are looking for something good to watch give it a try. An easy 8.5 / 10 from me and one of the rare Netflix gems, without all the "everybody is gay or trans" political correctness!

I think the Asian movie market will forever create a plots and storyline around themes like this. It's sellable. This one isn't bad though. I've seen the thriller for season two.

I have watched money heist and squid game and i love them alot, yet to watch hunger games. I would love to watch alice in borderlands. Thanks for the suggestion
