Many things will be running through you mind as a lady when you try to prove your father wrong after telling you not to do something or go somewhere and you went because you have this stronghead and wish to have your own freedom or final say but things didnt come out well for you. This is the story of a girl call Maya, an artist but staying with her dad, grandma and aunty clara, even though things were ok with them, she really didnt have this daughter to father connection. She is kinda scare she dont always have her say, you know when you have this kind of father that always feel like he have the final say in you life even as an adult, she want to travel around and enjoy her art life but her dad want her to take over his business since she is the only child (daughter) but she doesnt want that so she decided to travel down to Africa against her dad wish.

Getting to Africa, things turn out good at some point when she met Mtumbie a south africa guy who show her around and shower her with love and affection, within a shout time she fell in love with him, called her family at home to break the propose news to them, I wasnt surprise the dad was against the idea as usual but she didnt listen and decide to prove her dad wrong this time but before the visitation, she caught Mtumbie cheating on her and she quit the relationship but doesnt know how to face her father because of the "I told you so kind of humiliation" So she decided to fake it after meeting a guy named Malcolm in a bar who was in a serious problem with another guy Tyrell after returning the money Tyrell won in a gamble bet back to the owner. Since He didnt have any safe place to hid, he decide to go with Maya fake plan to pretend as Mtumbie (Her supposed fiance).
Things didnt go the way Maya planned which was to introduce him to the family as Mtumbie, wed him and after the honeymoon she will come home as a widow (lied that he drowned). To me the plan isnt a good one, how will she come up with that kind of plan. To cut the story short, The both fell in love with each other along the way but act as if they arent, went with the wedding and also the he drowned plan. But Something Unexpected happened that cast the whole plan, and leak out the truth and the whole new level of affection Find out what happened next.

My View
This are things that is going on in our society, people will decide to fake things or relationship all because they cant face the humiliation that might come with it especially when their high hope got shattered or they are too scared to face their parent with the truth, this kind of scenario doesnt always have a happy ending, instead it will bring more harms than good because you will keep using lie to cover lie and before you know it, it can destroy a lot of things. Some might workout but in most cases, you will be the one that will lose the most. Giving it a 9\10 rating it have this moral teaching to always own up to the truth no matter the situation or the consequences it will bring.
