Red Cliff ( Chibi )-  A Cinematic Masterpiece Directed By John Woo

Review by @valentin86 · 1788d · of Red Cliff

Red Cliff ( Chibi ) is a 2008 Chinese epic historic war film, based on the Battle of Red Cliffs

**A short summary of the film** >*At the beginning of the third century, Wu County is invaded by the tyrant Cao Cao with his army of 1 million soldiers. The leader of the attacked area, Sun Qual, is forced to ask for help from his rival Liu Bei, but, even so, the armies of the two are not nearly as numerous. Strategist Zhou Yu notes, however, that Cao Cao's army cannot be used at sea, which could be the only hope to withstand the crushing army.* **To see more information, check out this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Cliff_(film)** **Ok, from my point of view this movie is a cinematic masterpiece. Honestly, no film like this will rise to its value - I really liked it, it's something very unique compared to what i've had the pleasure of watching so far. I recommend with confidence - you will not be disappointed.** **I really like movies like this, with war tactics - it has everything: action, fighting, carnage, with a very clever script. Exactly everything you need for a good film and it is a successful film that deserves to be sacrificed one day to enjoy this masterpiece.**
