Spartacus (2010 - 2013) - A rather extravagant historical series. It's worth the time.
For me, this series is a powerful cinematic masterpiece, which has no cinematic rival in this genre: - the gladiator, Spartacus remained in history, his name being remembered even today, and this series manages to expose this epic story of his life in a very special way quite complex.
**Spartacus Series Seasons**• Spartacus: Blood and Sand (2010), season I
• Spartacus: Gods of the Arena (2011), prequel (the publication of this season was due to some unfortunate events through which the main actor Andy Whitfield, suffered)
• Spartacus: Vengeance (2012), season II
• Spartacus: War of the Damned, season III A short summary of this wonderful film creation.
**It is a brilliant series, with superb actors, a film that shows us how a simple Thracian soldier, enslaved by the Roman Empire, managed to start a powerful revolution. The series presents violent scenes, glorious victories and shameful losses, on both sides. This series shows only a small part of those times, how people lived before when slaves were put to fight in arenas for the amusement of the public. It is true to make it more interesting the producers have resorted to many special effects and hotter scenes. The series is intended for all who can watch - Attention due to many violent scenes, this series is not recommended for minors.**After a Thracian warrior recruited by the Romans in the auxiliary troops, commits a violent act of disobedience, he is sentenced to violent death, put to fight in the arena of gladiators, but he escapes execution and is reborn as a gladiator, under the name of Spartacus. He will be sold as a slave to Lentulus Batiatus to train at his gladiator school in Capua. Separated from the love of his life, Spartacus will be forced to take part in arena battles with warriors and beasts.
