The Forbidden Kingdom (2008) - A film production, inspired from one awesome fantastic Asian legend.

**In this post i will try to expose some toughts of one of good movie, maybe one of the best of 2008. So, if you like the actors Jet Li, Jackie Chan, both together or both separately, the kung fu scenes who are super long and really tiring by their spectacularity, if you still like Chinese legends with Monkey Kings and Immortal Emperors, subtle humor and unscrupulous scenarios, then you must see this movie.** **In general, this is an American production with many Hong Kong actors, oscillating between comedy, parody and legend - so it has enough spices to reconcile all viewers. Inspired by a super, super old Chinese fable, The Forbidden Kingdom, The Forbidden Kingdom swings between ancient China and the U.S. from today. An excellent movie with a wonderful fantasy story.** **A little summary.** >*A teenager fascinated by kung-fu movies is miraculously transported to the past when he finds the king's battle stick in an antique shop. Here, the young Jason meets Lu Yan (a learned monk), who will be close to him in his dangerous adventure, that of bringing the Monkey King back to life. The two will be joined by a mysterious woman and a Buddhist monk. Therefore, the four traveling companions will face the powerful armies of the Jade Warrior. With Jet Li and Jackie Chan in the lead roles, the fight sequences are spectacular.** **Ok, so this wonderful film production, successfully combines Chinese mythological elements, gorgeous natural scenery, martial arts fights and spectacular stunts .... extraordinarily well staged as an alternative to the Legend of the Monkey King and his magic wand, spiced up. with the classic fight scenes in which the incomparable actors / fighters Jackie Chan and Jet Li take part ... a film with a cursive action, a beautifully directed story, a film that i watched with great pleasure ...** **Leaving aside the characters portrayed in the film, we are all aware that Chinese mythology is indeed full of fascinating stories ... stories that refer to the beliefs of ancient peoples; ...- about gods, heroes and legendary characters, natural phenomena or origin universe - a fantastic world shrouded in an atmosphere full of mystery. Many characters are known in Chinese mythology, as well as already famous legends, such as that of General Guan Yu or the legendary Sun Wukong (Monkey King). Given that, Sun Wukong is exposed as a fantastic character with supernatural powers, endowed with many superb skills .... honestly, honestly i tend to believe that compared to known heroes of Greek mythology or Scandinavian mythology, Sun Wukong he is the best created fantastic character of all time. Hercules, Atlas, Zeus, Achilles, Thor, Loky, even the characters present throughout the Marvel universe, from my point of view i already consider them to be just, like little children compared to this Monkey King named Sun Wukong. A powerful fantastic being, interesting with unlimited supernatural powers. I'm sure that in the near future we will have the opportunity to enjoy the appearance of many other alternative, cinematic stories of this powerfull monkey, Sun Wukong.**

Thank🙂 you for your precious time reading this post. All👨‍🌾the best to everyone🌍 - Cheers🙋‍♂️.
