The terror and the suspense are my favorite genres, I have countless films that I have seen and that I would like to review, because they are good, interesting and there is a lot to say about them. It cost me a lot to choose between so many but the one that finally choose is not to want to see another horror movie again in life👻
Midsommar
This movie is not like no other that I have seen before, because I would never think that the terror was as beautiful and colorful as they show it, and I do not say it because it finds beauty in terror (which would be a tremendous madness), but because sometimes the terror is hidden after sublime, the adorable and what at first glance seems to be reliable; In MidSommar they use this resource very much, when you begin to see you never imagine what it would be its end.
The plot is based on the life of a girl named Dani (Florence Pugh) who recently suffered a tragedy that affected her considerably, at the same time her boyfriend, Christian (Jack Reynor) and the friends of him plan a trip to a town stablished away from civilization in Sweden, with several objectives together as meet the members of this town from which one of the friends is also, studying and entering his origins, his customs and his story in general, vacation a little and as regards the girl, to be able to forget about what Bad who previously lived.
In the first place, this place seems to be the right place, the group of friends is enthusiastic about knowing about cultural diversity and they show themselves very open and calm until everything starts to become strange, disturbing, bizarre and even creepy, a horrendous place of which no one can escape. As I said before, the environment never lends itself to think that they are in the worst place that can be imagined until suddenly, from one moment to another, the whole background and the unique objective of that summer trip with friends.
When you see this movie you will not feel afraid for someone's life, there is no suspense of a persecution, there are no scenes that make you scream at scare, but what if you will feel is repulsive, the atrocious, the indignant, the abominable of terror, The darkest thing that may be in a corrupted mind. Without a doubt, no so much scarey horror movie yet gut-wrenching you have ever seen.
