This is the title of a movie I've heard many times before. The running time is quite long at 2 hours 47 minutes.
When the watchmaker heard the news of his son's military service on the battlefield, he made a large clock at the train station. He made a 'reverse clock' in the hope that all those who died on the battlefield would come back to life.
And then a child is born, the mother dies due to the pain of childbirth, and the father is surprised by the child's strange behavior and throws the child at the door of a house. It was like a nursing home for the elderly, where a barren woman named Queenie takes care of the child and gives her the name Benjamin.
Benjamin was already born with a very old body. And as the years passed, he was getting younger and younger. When Benjamin gets to know her girl, Daisy, who comes to see her grandmother in a nursing home, Benjamin falls in love with her.
As the years passed, Benjamin became a young man and Daisy became a young woman. The two fell in love with each other, but met like fate and broke up repeatedly.
If you watch the movie as a love story between Benjamin and Daisy, the movie has a happy ending. However, as fate would have it, Benjamin is born as an old man, grows younger, becomes a child, and closes his eyes one warm day. He was physically old when he was born because he was an old man. And as the years passed, he became a child, but as he grew older he began to lose his memory, his awareness, and his words. He watches the movie and makes him think a lot about getting older and getting older.
It is a good movie, intense, thought provoking and keep you occupied all time.
