Robert Pattinson on the frame of the science fiction thriller "Higher Society", shot by Claire Denis. Also in the film will appear Mia Goth, Juliette Binoche, Lars Idinger and Andre Benjamin.

The plot is dedicated to the story of a group of prisoners, some of whom are sentenced to death. Once criminals are offered to "exchange" the remainder of their prison term for participation in a secret and dangerous experiment. Now the former prisoners will be on board the spacecraft and go in search of new sources of energy.

The project became the English-language debut of French director Claire Denis, who also worked on the script along with her permanent co-author Jean-Paul Fargeau and spouses Nick Layd and Zaidi Smith.
