"Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi" - a film with a spoken name

In one of the cinemas of our city opened a new hall Atmos, in which the main emphasis is placed on an impressively loud and clear sound + not a frail such screen. I decided to try this hall on anything other than a new episode of the Star Wars. Sitting in an armchair comfortable, I prepared for a long space journey through the dark expanses of the galaxy. The lights were dimmed, the very familiar music rumbled in all the speakers lined the hall, went the traditional text-preface to the film in the spirit of all past episodes. I was overtaken by a powerful nostalgia, as if back in childhood.

The story goes directly after the events of the seventh episode. After the death of Hans Solo, the battle of dark and bright sides continues. The main character Ray (Daisy Ridley) reached Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), who lives as a hermit on the island. Luke reluctantly helps the girl to control the awakened Force in herself. In the meantime, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), who went to the Dark Side of the Force, decides to put an end to the Resistance forever. He seemed to take the upper hand over the battle, but the ambitions of the young villain are not always good for the decisions made by Kylo.

Many will say that the Star Wars are not the same... not the canon... etc. My opinion is not quite the same. Looking "Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi", I was completely satisfied with the film. This is an excellent, high-quality fantastic blockbuster, albeit with a very familiar storyline, but with an atmosphere beloved by all fans. In the movie there are new characters, new funny animals and previously not shown locations.

Explosions, battles, a spirit of adventure and a bit of humor, as expected, are present in the tape. Especially remember the moment with the epic landing of the iron, who watched - will understand :)

In the eighth episode of the Star Wars, I lacked a good acting game, the impression was created that most of the actors arrived on the set in a stupid manner in pursuit of royalties, I do not put my soul into my characters. In most scenes, I just did not believe the actors, as if everything is played out and implausible, this is a significant drawback of the picture. Also, some moments seemed tightened, for example, when the main character was asking Luke to teach her Jedi skills, I wanted to put straight on the rewind. The appearance of Master Yoda also did not cause any special emotions, this moment in my opinion was very childish.

Pleased with Adam Driver, here he better and more impressive coped with the role of the charismatic villain of the Dark Side, noticeable growth in the level of acting skills. Despite the aforementioned shortcomings, the film caused a sea of ​​positive. Characters that seemed to me absolute strangers in the seventh episode, in the eighth were already familiar.

The film "Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi" - a completely watchable good fighter. However, I do not advise looking at IMAX, there are not so many large-scale battles here to give preference to the huge screen. Any ordinary 2D cinema is suitable. Taking into account all the advantages and disadvantages, my adequate rating of the film is 7 out of 10. Look only the best! ;)
