"Transformers: The Last Knight" - its cool or not?

Review by @vikfrei · 3338d · of Transformers: The Last Knight

Hello!

Today I visited the cinema for the new advertised film of Michael Bay - "Transformers: The Last Knight" with Mark Wahlberg in the title role, I want to share my impressions of the viewing and find out whether it is worth watching a blockbuster in the cinema.

STORY

People are fighting the Transformers. Optimus Prime, faced with a threat to cope with which he can only with the help of new allies, goes to their search. During his absence, the motley company, consisting of the Autobots, the inventor Kade Yeger, the English lord and the professor from Oxford, is trying to stop the building of the Galvatron space bridge. Whose world will win, and whose will be defeated?

VISUALIZATION

Transformers, as always at the height of the level of graphics and visual effects. This is one of the best films of this year in terms of the number and quality of special effects. The picture is juicy, detailing on the level, everything is constantly exploding on the screen, crashes, military operations are unfolding, sparks and fragments are flying ... The tape looks spectacular, all objects of computer graphics are executed amazingly high quality. If we compare the premiere for example with the first parts of the franchise, then of course the difference Is substantially present.

SOUND

The soundtrack in "Transformers" is made qualitatively, the localization is excellent, the music complements the picture, but there are no songs, such as the memorable hit of Imagine Dragons - Battle Cry, from the previous movie of the universe of Michael Bay. The sounds of transformation remained unchanged. In general, qualitatively, but did not hear anything new in the premiere.

ACTORS

The cast was surprising. The appearance of Anthony Hopkins in one of the leading roles - a very good decision. Honestly, I'm not impressed by Anthony, but he brilliantly coped with his role, and, I would even say, made this film, he and his assistant are a funny druid-psycho, with a great sense of humor. Mark Wahlberg is good in the frame, once again demonstrated the excellent shape and characteristic brutality of the character. In the frame, the companion of the protagonist, actress Laura Haddock looked very well: smart, tall, and damn attractive.

TOTAL

When I bought a movie ticket, I did not expect to see something spectacular, as the previous part was disappointed, but "Transformers" exceeded my expectations. The film is expensive, it looks great on the big screen, the actors are good, the only thing that upset the story. Nothing new and unusual, more focused on the teen audience. The film seemed a bit tight, despite the fact that there was little chatter in it, and there was plenty of action. Appreciated this masterpiece in 6 out of 10, I think this is quite an adequate estimate. In the cinema, you should go to fans of the franchise, or those who want to watch spectacular special effects in a typical Hollywood blockbuster, but if you watch at home on TV, the film is unlikely to please the eye.
