The story of vampire is always interesting, there are many versions of how vampire is formed or how vampire characters are, and how to handle them. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a TV series of the 90s - 2000s that raised the issue. Her beautiful figure, smart, fierce, and funny, became an attractive offer as a vampire-sized character.
Buffy The Vampire Slayer is a US television series aired under the banner of Mutant Enemy Production and aired from March 1997 to May 2003. The series received a lot of positive criticism and a fairly high rating and got into The 60 Greatest Drama of All Time Version TV Guide. This series is not only successful on the screen only, but various other products that carry the name of this series like, novels, comics, and video games.
The series stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy The Slayer, a young woman elected to fight crime. This mystical call gives a special power such as an increase in physical strength, endurance, agility, healing, intuition, and limited Clairvoyance abilities.
Buffy is guided by his supervisor Giles (Anthony Stewart Head) who has been trained to accompany the Slayer, he researches the supernatural beings that Buffy has to deal with. Not only that, Buffy also often provide help to friends who he knew in Sunnydale Highschool, namely Willow Rosenberg (Alyson Hannigan) and Xander Harris (Nicholas Brendon). Season 1 begins with Buffy's arrival to Sunnydale, where she is not too interested in going to school and hopes to be released soon as she is a Slayer, after she burned the gym in her previous school. Rupert, his watchdog reminded that his new place now has an aura that does not wear, because it is built on Hellmouth, a portal of dimensions that attracts many supernatural phenomena around it. So it was his job to prevent the evil beings trying to take over Sunnydale.
In season 2, many developments are happening. Starting from the new Slayer presence is Kendra Young, who is accompanied by two people Vampire Spike and Drusilla. Its emergence was caused by the instantaneous death of Buffy in the first season. Willow himself began to learn magic and make romantic bonds with a Werewolf, while Xander also did not want to lose, he also established a relationship with Cordelia, a cheerleader in Sunnydale High. But Buffy's journey has not ended, after moving to Los Angeles in season 3. Angel is mysteriously released from the devil's dimensions, but he tends to be crazy because of the tortures he endured there. Giles also lost his position as Buffy's supervisor because of his attitude that is not professional and tend to be subjective to Buffy. Giles love affection like a father to Buffy. Buffy himself also decided not to work for the Council anymore.
Buffy continues his studies at UC Sunnydale, on season 4. Where he has to deal with Adam, a monster secretly made by The Initiative from a mixture of humans, machines, and demons. That eventually causes chaos and must be destroyed. This annihilation also gives an end to the secret military installation.
Dawn, the sister of Buffy appears in her life. Although he never really existed, but as if he was always near Buffy on this 5th season. This season focuses on Glory, a exiled god and is looking for a key that can make him return to the devil's dimension, but in the process it also results in a blurring of boundaries between dimensions and triggering chaos. Until finally Glory realized that Dawn is the key. After kidnapping Dawn, Buffy was forced to sacrifice herself and jump into the dimension portal, which eventually closed with the life of Buffy as her baby.
After dying for 147 days, Buffy has been brought back to life using a very strong spell on season 6. But he is very depressed about it, because he is already in heaven. Meanwhile, Buffy still has to deal with a group of nerds led by Warren Mears who seeks to kill Buffy and take over Sunnydale. In that journey Willow loses his lover, and causes himself to mad and pursue various black magic that ultimately kills Warren. Willow was reawakened by Giles, which allowed Xander to enter his heart and end his wrath.
In Season 7, Buffy's second rebirth causes instability between good and evil. This chaos begins with the prospective hunt for potential Slayers, and the resurrection of a strong old army, Turok-Han Vampire. After the Council's ambiguity, many Slayer candidates are charging to the Buffy house some of which were brought by Giles. In the final battle, Angel comes with a talisman, which Buffy then gives to Spike. As the Buffy team begins to approach the center of Helmouth, Willow chants a spell that activates the power of the Slayer and Angel's talisman is used by Spike to drain the power of the sun to Hellmouth causing his death along with all the Vampire that is there. This battle resulted in the collapse of Sunnydale and made a large crater. And the series ends with Buffy's smile.
