Shaquille O'Neal and Dr. Phil wakes up chaining himself to the pipe in the bathroom. Their host, Billy Puppet shows that the room slowly fills with nerve gas-the only way to make baskets and look, to use on their feet. Unfortunately, Dr. Phil looked wrong and fainted, leaving two dead.
In New York City recently widowed Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris) visiting his brother-in-law, Tom Logan (Charlie Sheen), asked about his loneliness with the departure of his nephew, Cody, to the army. Tom's attempted suicide attempts in his take on Viagra, which greatly inflated his penis and caused his death when he attacked the fence. Cindy then takes a job to take care of Mrs. Norris (Cloris Leachman), who lives in a haunted house. The next door is Tom Ryan (Craig Bierko), running in Mahalik (Anthony Anderson) and CJ (Kevin Hart), learning about their one-night homosexual stand. He was welcomed home by the arrival of an estranged child, Robbie (Beau Mirchoff) and Rachel (Conchita Campbell). Tom and Cindy bond the next day, Cindy confesses to him about her husband (Simon Rex) death of George in a fatal boxing match. Two are aware of their new love, but are plagued by a giant tripod whose electricity is turned off and begins evaporating the city dwellers.
Cindy communicates in Japanese with the haunted mock ghost home image, Toshio (Garrett Masuda), learns that the invasion answer is the heart of his father. As Tom leaves the city with his children, Cindy reunites with his friend Brenda Meeks (Regina Hall), miraculously living after his death. Looking at the toilet with "heart" in the area, Cindy realizes that Billy, through Henry's wife, is Toshio's true father. Seeing how far Tom will save his sons, Billy apologizes for the invasion and releases them. Robbie and Rachel manage to return to their mother (Molly Shannon) who is revealed to marry a much older man. Brenda also got to know Billy's friend, Zoltar.
The epilogue was set nine months later, narrated by James Earl Jones, who would later be hit by a car, Brenda reveals the birth of his son with Zoltar, Mahalik and CJ continuing their relationship, and President Harris is pleased with his duck. Meanwhile, Tom shows up on The Oprah Winfrey Show and wild confessions by jumping his love around Cindy, throwing Cindy, and destroying Oprah's.
