Hello Steemians dead tired from work again. I felt like I was gangbanged by emails, requests and orders. I thought the week would never end. Finally weekend and I'm looking for something good to watch some TV series perhaps. Then I stumbled over this trailer from History Channel. I was like.......OMG templar knights! Since I was a child I had this fascination with medieval era knights, templar, crusades, castles those sort of stuff. Sometimes when I am in a church looking at the painted glass I imagine myself in a castle in the great hall. The church hymns somehow makes my mind go somewhere else, like getting ready for a crusade being blessed by the priest on the way to battle. I'm no expert though I just know bits and stuff. Maybe someone here is a medieval expert would love to follow and chat sometime. Anyway sorry to disappoint this series in not due until fall later this year. Jeremy Renner aka Hawk Eye as we know has a thing for knights and would be producing.
This 10 part series takes us to the final days of the the Templar Knights. We'll see some burning at the stake and persecution of the knights. Ahghhh I thought my life was hard. History Channel is doing it they did and awesome job with Vikings so this definitely would raise the bar. These bad asses were on the forefront during the Crusades hope we can see some action there.
What we know so far our main character is Sir Landry one of the veterans in search of the Holy Grail. I expect there will be a lot of killing, sword fight, mystery, torture and knights. That I am sure of lol.
Just look at that red templar knights cross which has always fascinated me ever since. Pure awesomeness in every way just can't wait until this season starts. Until then....... DUN DUN DUDU DUUUUN DUN DU DU DUUUUN...... DUN DUN DUDU DUUUUN DUN DU DU DUUUUN..... still the best TV series of all time! Catch ya later Steemians.
