Hello!
I found out by chance about the film '2:22'. Almost unknown actors, unknown director (Paul Currie). But I was interested in the plot.

Michiel Huisman plays an air traffic controller Dylan. He is an ace in his work because he has a "superpower". When a guy looks at a map of aircraft traffic, he sees everything in 3D and this helps him to quickly assess the situation.

He boldly operates with figures, distances, speeds, which causes the enthusiastic delight of his colleagues. But Dylan played hard and almost collided 2 aircraft with 900 passengers. He is suspended from work and he has more time to solve one riddle.
He finds out that at the same time the same things happen: the glass breaks, the insect dies, the drop falls, the bell rings, etc. In the end, there is a boom at 2:22 o'clock! No, it's not an explosion, but something is going to sparkle.
As a result, all lines lead him to the railway station, where he sees the same people. As a result, all these coincidences practically drive him crazy.
Every time I see how they spoil the great idea of the film or TV series, I'm very upset. So it happened this time too.
I really enjoyed watching the protagonist pick up the puzzle. But this is the only plus of this film. The intrigue is preserved until the very end. I could not even foresee what all this is leading to. I just thought he had to save someone at the station, but no. But all the good in this film was killed by vanilla drama. I could close my eyes to the mediocre performance of actors and in some places an illogical plot, but there is excessive naivete, lack of chemistry between the main characters, crumpled finale. The ending is literally pinned with cliches.
As a result, we've got a romantic drama with claims to science fiction and constant accents on the bottomless blue eyes of the main characters.
