Hello everyone. Good day, isn't it? The movie I am going to talk about today is called Green Book. One of my friends suggested me this movie. He said it has a very good story. So I think why not give it a try? And honestly I wasn't disappointed after watching the movie
Green Book was released in 2018. The movie is based on a true story from 1962. It is an Oscar winning biographical drama that showed us the true journey of an African pianist Don Shirley and his American driver and bodyguard, Tony Lip.
The movie is based on a real story and that made me more interested in watching it. A white guy is working for a black guy. In 1960, that was impossible. I started enjoying the story. The two main characters are very different from each other. One is Tony who is a simple and rough man. The other one is Don Shirley who is a scared but very talented piano player.
I liked watching their relationship change. At first they were just two unknown people working together. But later they started caring about each other. Some of their talks were funny and some were serious.
The story follows Tony Lip who gets a job as a driver for Dr. Don Shirley. Don is going on a music tour in different parts of America. Tony becomes his driver and also travels with him.
They use a book called the Green Book during their trip. The book helps Black travelers find places where they can stay and eat safely during that time.
During the trip they face many difficult situations. Tony and Don also see how differently people treat them. Because of these experiences their relationship starts changing.
The movie has many funny moments. Tony sometimes says things in a very funny way. His way of talking made me laugh many times. Don is very different and his reaction to Tony also makes some scenes funny.
There are also many serious and emotional moments. Some scenes made me feel bad because of the way Don was treated. He is a talented and successful person but still faces many problems because of his skin color.
I also liked the emotional moments between Tony and Don. They slowly start understanding each other. Their friendship was one of the best parts of the movie for me.
My favourite part was the journey of Tony and Don. I liked seeing how they slowly become friends. Their conversations during the trip were also enjoyable.
I also liked the final part of the movie. It showed how much their relationship had changed from the beginning.
I really enjoyed the movie so much. After finishing the movie, I called my friend and thanked him for suggesting such a wonderful movie. I liked the story and the friendship between the two main characters. Their journey was interesting for me from beginning to end.
