Greetings to everyone in the Movies & TVshows community, today I bring you as a Korean drama recommendation, Vincenzo, which I thought I would not end up liking, however, it was quite the opposite, with a very entertaining plot, with unexpected events and with more than one character that will end up pleasing you, where justice comes at the hands of whom you would least expect.

Synopsis

The plot first introduces us to a mafia lawyer of Korean origin, Park Joo-hyung or Vincenzo Cassano, better known as Song Jong-ki, who was adopted and taken to Italy at a very young age. We are told a little by little of his past, the quest for revenge, among other details; becoming part of a mafia family, being the favorite of the leader, which his adoptive brother did not like the idea, sending him to kill, of course failing in the attempt..
To solve these internal conflicts, he returns to his home country, where he had a plan in store, a business that would benefit him in many ways. On his return to Korea, he meets and gets involved with a lawyer Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-been), who is willing to do everything possible to solve his cases. Through unfortunate events, Vincenzo and Hong Cha-young end up working together to defeat a company with dark undertones.
Although, at the beginning our protagonist did it for the reasons of his business, this becomes more and more personal, taking justice into his own hands, because what better than a member of the mafia to achieve it; with unconventional methods, with unpredictable strategies and with new allies that will be relevant to achieve it.

Personal opinion

"Don't judge a book by its cover" a very popular saying and that describes very well this k-drama; with a main character quite complex and of great debate is Vincenzo really good or bad? I think the drama introduces us to this complexity of morality where we are used to that everything good and righteous comes in white coats, adorned with good actions, when sometimes to combat a greater evil, unconventional strategies are used and not labeled as good.
However, these actions are not necessarily those of a person with evil intentions, yes, he may be a villain, but, many times justice, true justice can be born from the shadows. Basically, it is an evil fighting another evil; one where instead of believing in traditional justice, he believes in human injustice.
A very good production, with a novel plot and a subtle and touching romance. Revealing that society is so corrupt that it involves acting above the law, resorting to intelligence and creativity. What do you think? Do you prefer a villain-hero with unconventional methods or hope that traditional justice gets the job done? Bearing in mind that justice is a spider's web where the weakest will be trapped in its net.

Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Movies & TVshows, hoy les traigo como recomendación de drama coreano, Vincenzo, el cual pensé que no me terminaría agrandando, sin embargo, fue todo lo contrario, con una trama bastante entretenida, con sucesos inesperados y con más de un personaje que terminara complaciéndote, donde la justicia viene en mano de quien menos pensarías.

Sinopsis

La trama nos adentra de primero, con un abogado de la mafia de origen coreano, Park Joo-hyung o Vincenzo Cassano, mejor conocido (Song Jong-ki) quien fue adoptado y llevado a Italia desde muy pequeño. Nos cuentan un poco a poco de su pasado, la búsqueda de venganza, entre otros detalles; llegando a formar parte de una familia de mafiosos, siendo el favorito del líder, el cual su hermano adoptivo no le agradaba la idea, mandándolo a matar, por supuesto fallando en el intento.
Para solucionar estos conflictos internos, regresa a su país natal, pues ahí tenia un plan reservado, un negocio que lo beneficiaria en muchos aspectos. En su regreso a Corea, conoce y se involucra con una abogada Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-been), quien está dispuesta hacer todo lo posible por lograr resolver sus casos. Por sucesos desafortunados, Vincenzo y Hong Cha-young, terminan trabajando juntos para derrotar una empresa, con un trasfondo oscuro.
Aunque, en un principio nuestro protagonista lo hacia por las razones de su negocio, esto se torne cada vez más personal, tomando la justicia con sus propias manos, pues que mejor que un miembro de la mafia para lograrlo; con métodos pocos convencionales, con estrategias impredecibles y con nuevos aliados que serán relevantes para lograrlo.

“No juzgues a un libro por su portada” un dicho muy popular y que describe muy bien este k-drama; con un personaje principal bastante complejo y de gran debate ¿es realmente Vincenzo bueno o malo? Pienso que el drama nos introduce a esta complejidad de la moralidad donde estamos acostumbrados que todo lo bueno y justiciero viene en capas blancas, adornados de acciones buenas, cuando en ocasiones para combatir a un mal mayor, se recurre a estrategia poco convencionales y no catalogadas como buenas.
Sin embargo, estas acciones poco agradables a la moralidad humana, no son necesariamente de una persona con intenciones malas, si, puede ser un villano, pero, muchas veces la justicia, la verdadera justicia puede llegar a nacer de las sombras. Básicamente, que sea un mal combatiendo a otro mal; uno donde en vez de creer en la justicia tradicional, cree en la injusticia humana.
Una producción bastante buena, con una trama novedosa y un romance sutil y conmovedor. Revelando que la sociedad esta tan corrupta que, implica actuar por encima de la ley, recurriendo a la inteligencia y creatividad. Ustedes ¿Qué piensan? ¿prefieren un villano-héroe con métodos pocos convencionales o esperar que la justicia tradicional logre hacer su trabajo? Teniendo en cuenta que, la justicia es una telaraña donde el más débil quedará atrapado en su red.
