We all have one or more films that thrill and enchant us every time we watch them. Those that are engraved in our memories and hearts because they have that special something that makes our lives happy, but we also have those that bore us to the point of making us fall asleep or simply make us change the channel. These are also part of our cinematic heritage and we rarely talk about them. Fortunately, with the concuro proposed by the CineTV Community, we have the opportunity to talk about our experience in relation to this topic.

I've been going through some posts and I've had several encounters and misunderstandings. I've seen users mentioning films like Black Swan, 50 Shades of Gray, Harry Potter and Fast and Furious. Of these I have to tell you that I loved Harry Potter and the Fast and Furious franchise. Of the latter, I don't like all of them of course, but I do enjoy watching them. However, I don't do the same with Black Swan and 50 Shades of Gray. I saw the first one and although everyone knows I'm a fan of the actress who plays the lead role, I never got hooked and I didn't even see the second one. I read the book and I didn't like it either, in fact I didn't manage to finish it either, because I simply didn't like it.

But, as there is nothing written between tastes and colours, these are just opinions of each person. There are films with very good actors and excellent directors, but that doesn't mean that we necessarily have to like them. In my case, I can mention several films, however, I will only choose one that is about a mission in space and they have an accident and then everything happens based on that event.

It is Gravity, a film from 2013, starring two of my favourite actors Sandra BUllock and George Clooney. Both are excellent actors and never, ever let me down. Needless to say, their director is also very good, but this time with that film I couldn't connect with the story, the characters, or anything. I remember that when I started watching it, well, I felt like getting up, but I thought I'd give it a chance. Unfortunately, the opportunity ended in a nap in the middle of it, which prevented me from finishing watching it.

I recognise that this film got several nominations and was well received by a large part of the audience that enjoys this kind of film, but I didn't like it. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it wasn't interesting enough for me. I found it too slow and I think that ended up annoying me. I confess, I don't feel much affinity with space movies either, but I wanted to see this one, because it was about two good actors.

But we also have to recognise that we don't have to like every film just because others say it's good. We are made up of interpretations and everyone has the possibility to decide whether they like it or not.

Todos tenemos una o varias películas que nos emocionan y encantan cada vez que las vemos. Esas que quedaron grabadas en nuestras memorias y corazones por tener ese algo tan especial que nos alegra la vida, pero también tenemos esas que nos aburren hasta el punto de hacernos dormir o, simplemente, hacernos cambiar de canal. Esas también forman parte de nuestro acervo cinematográfico y pocas veces hablamos de ellas. Afortunadamente, con el concuro propuesto por la Comunidad CineTV, tenemos la oportunidad de contar nuestra experiencia en relación al tema planteado.

Ya estuve por ahí revisando algunos post y he tenido encuentros y desecuentros varios. He visto usuarios que mencionas películas como El Cisne Negro, 50 Sombras de Gray, Harry Potter y Rápidos y Furiosos. De estas les cuento que que me encantó Harry Potter y la franquicia de Rapidos y Furiosos. De esta ultima, no me gustan todas claro, pero sí disfruto viéndolas. Sin embargo, no me pasa los mismo con Cisne Negro y 50 Sombras de Gray. La primera la vi y aunque todos saben que soy fans de la actriz que interpreta el protagónico, nunca me terminó de enganchar y la segunda ni la vi. Leí el libro y tampoco me gustó, de hecho tampoco alcancé a terminarlo, porque simplemente no me gustó.

Pero, como entre gustos y colores, no hay nada escrito, pues son solo opiniones de cada persona. Hay películas con muy buenos actores y excelentes directores, pero eso no quiere decir que obligatoriamente tengan que gustarnos. En mi caso, puedo mencionar varias películas, no obstante, sólo me decantaré por una que trata sobre una misión en el espacio y tienen un accidente y, después todo transcurre en función de ese evento.

Se trata de Gravity, una película del 2013, protagonizado por dos de mis actores favoritos Sandra BUllock y George Clooney. Ambos excelentes actores y jamás, jamás, me defraudan. Demás está decir que su director también es muy bueno, pero esta vez con esa película no pude conectarme ni con la historia, ni con los personajes, ni nada. Recuerdo que cuando comencé a verla, pues, me sentí ganas intensas de levantarme, pero pensé en darle una oportunida. Lamentablemente, la oportunidad terminó en una siesta a mitad de la misma, la cual impidió que terminara de verla.

Ojo, reconozco que esta película obtuvo varias nominaciones y fue bien recibida por una gran parte del público que disfruta de este tipos de películas, pero a mí no me gustó. No digo que sea mala, sólo digo que no fue lo bastante interesante para mí. Me pareció muy lenta y creo que eso terminó por fastidiarme. Confieso que, yo tampoco siento mucha afinidad con películas que traten sobre temas del espacio, pero quise ver esta, porque se trataba de dos buenos actores.

Pero, también hay que reconocer que no todas las películas deben gustarnos, solo porque los demás digan que es buena. Estamos hechos de interpretaciones y cada quien tiene la posibilidad de decidir si le gusta o no.
