Her husband tried to help her by taking her to therapy sessions to deal with the grief, but none of it worked. This whole situation begins to make Carlos uncomfortable to the point where he comes to doubt his mental health. He, worried about her mental health, asks her to leave the house to start over and Laura refuses. She asks him for two days to resolve everything, but this does not end well. She finds Simon, but not as she wanted and makes the worst decision for her.
Undoubtedly, this is a very good horror and suspense movie. However, I must confess that, for some moments, it becomes a little slow and has some sequences that remind us of other horror movies, which could make it seem very predictable, but, the performance of the main character seems very good to me. In addition to this we have a well done script that allows you to weave all the events of the story. Each character plays her role in the film, but it is Belén Rueda who stands out throughout the film.
Finally, as a spectator it is possible to see how the game is a constant within the film, since it begins with a game and ends with a game. In fact, the child begins also has his own game that immediately relates to the game of clues in which one clue leads you to another and this leads you to another, until you get to the last clue which is where you get the prize. Esta pieza filmica cuenta la historia de Laura (Belén Rueda) una mujer que decide regresar, después de mucho tiempo, al orfanto donde vivió para abrir una casa de cuidado para niños discapacitados junto a su esposo Carlos (Fernando Cayo) y su hijo Simón (Roger Princep).
Todo marcha muy bien, pero de pronto su hijo comienza a manifestar una conducta bastante extraña que pone en alerta a Laura. Simón comienza a hablar con amigos imaginarios que, después de un tiempo, se tornan bastante insistentes. Laura, ya cansada de este juego, le llama la atención a su hijo y éste desaparece de forma inexplicable dejando a Laura en una profunda depresión y necesidad de buscar explicación a lo que sucedió con Simón.
Simultáneamente, sucede otro evento que aviva más la tensión en la película, pues aparece una anciana llamada Benigna. Esta mujer resulta tener un gran secreto e intenta hacer que nadie lo descubra. Sin embargo, no le sale bien su empresa y al final, luego de una sesión psíquica, Laura comienza a buscar pistas y descubre todo.
Su esposo intentó ayudarla llevándola a sesiones de terapia para lidiar con el duelo, pero nada de eso funcionó. Toda esta situación comienza a incomodar a Carlos hasta el punto en el que llega a dudar de su salud mental. Este, preocupado por su salud mental, le pide abandonar la casa para comenzar de nuevo y Laura se niega. Ella le pide dos días para resolverlo todo, pero esto no termina nada bien. Ella encuentra a Simón, pero no como ella quería y toma la peor decisión para ella.
Sin duda, esta es una muy buena película de terror y suspenso. No obstante, debo confesar que, por algunos momentos, se torna una poco lenta y tiene algunas secuencias que rememoran a otras películas de terror, lo cual pudiera hacerla parecer muy predecible, pero, la actuación de la protagonista a mí me parece muy buena. Aunado a esto tenemos un guión bien logrado que te permite hilar todos los sucesos de la historia. Cada personaje cumple su papel dentro de la obra aporta sólo le necesario y en su momento, pero es Belén Rueda quien desataca durante toda la película.
Por último, como espectador es posible ver cómo el juego es una constante dentro de la película, puesto que la misma comienza con un juego y termina con un juego. De hecho, el niño comienza también tiene su propio juego que inmediatamente se relaciona con el juego de pistas en el que un indicio te lleva a otro y éste a otro, hasta llegar al último indicio que es dónde se obtiene el premio.
