When I saw Denzel Washington in the cast I thought this was a really great news.

I was so much wrong.

This movie has a lot of little defects and absolutely not enough qualities to make it good. I mean it's not totally bad, but if you watch it once in your life, it's so empty that there's no need to do it again later.

I'll have to review it in few weeks but in the same genre, "Hitman and bodyguard" is way better.

The first scene

The first scene is so ridiculous. We can see Ryan Reynolds with his girlfriend kissing at sunset and eating on the beach, having sex etc.. with a little music, saying I love you. All of that With too much light.

The only thing coming from that scene is that we know she's gonna go at a time. We don't know anything about her except he likes her. The writer just wanted to show "HE LOVES HER" to make it hard when they'll be separated. But the don't want to really create the character that we only see her ONCE after that so we don't care when they're not together anymore.

Combats

Too much. Too much combat. They're always fighting, the camera is shaking everywhere, for the first time I fount this ugly and made everything hard to understand.

I think I loved the scene in the stadium. And maybe few ones before, but after that all the combats are boring. I felt like watching the power rangers. They have a so tiny budget they rather make the characters fight for 5 minutes and make it boring instead of make a better story.

And the plot twist at the end is absolutely not enough to say it's worth watching the movie. It's disappointing and predictable.

Ryan Reynolds

I feel like he's doing like in "Smokin Aces". But that time the whole movie is like him too serious, and not just serious but trying to make it dramatically serious. Shouting and making big moves, sitting in the corner of a room and thinking.

If I could give you some advice about that movie just, don't.

It's one of the emptiest movie I've ever seen. I'm writing it only one week after watching it and almost forget about it. And even a little disappointed I still have memories about it.
