Una noche un asesinato causa revuelvo en el pequeño pueblo de Monterey, California, la víctima no fue identificada y el asesino no fue encontrado. Meses antes de este suceso, la vida de 5 madres y mujeres se ven sacudida ante algunas situaciones que comenzaran a destruirlas, la infidelidad, el bullying, la violencia doméstica y las mentiras, rodearan a estas 5 mujeres que tendrán que luchar por mantener su vida perfecta y sus secretos bajo llave.

One night a murder causes unrest in the small town of Monterey, California, the victim was not identified and the murderer was not found. Months before this event, the lives of 5 mothers and women are shaken by some situations that will begin to destroy them, infidelity, bullying, domestic violence and lies, will surround these 5 women who will have to fight to keep their lives perfect and their secrets under lock and key.

Big Little Lies es una serie de HBO que fue estrenada entre 2017 y 2019, tiene 2 temporadas con 7 capítulos cada uno con una duración entre 44 y 58 minutos, fue dirigida por Jean-Marc Vallée y Andrea Arnold, cuenta con un reparto muy completo donde Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley y Zoë Kravitz serán las protagonistas de esta historia.

Big Little Lies is an HBO series that was released between 2017 and 2019, it has 2 seasons with 7 chapters each with a duration between 44 and 58 minutes, it was directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and Andrea Arnold, it has a very complete cast where Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Zoë Kravitz will be the protagonists of this story.

Esta serie la vi en el 2020 debido a que fue una recomendación de un desconocido por internet, la historia como tal no me llamaba la atención, ya que no soy tan fans de las películas y series de Drama a full, pero decidí darle una oportunidad debido al reparto que tenía y ver que Nicole Kidman tendría un papel notable fue lo que me llevo a decidirme y terminarla en menos de 1 semana.

I saw this series in 2020 because it was a recommendation from a stranger on the internet, the story as such did not call my attention, since I'm not a fan of movies and full Drama series, but I decided to give it a chance because of the cast that had and see that Nicole Kidman would have a notable role was what led me to decide and finish it in less than 1 week.

Big Little Lies sigue la vida dramática de 5 madres que tienen un secreto en común, sus vidas se ven envueltas en situaciones que van a ir destruyéndolas poco a poco hasta que llega un punto donde tendrán que apoyarse por el bien de sus hijos. Las infidelidades, las mentiras, la violencia doméstica, el bullying en las escuelas, las mentiras y el asesinato formarán parte de esta historia y perseguirá a cada una de ellas sin descanso alguno.

Big Little Lies follows the dramatic lives of 5 mothers who have a secret in common, their lives are involved in situations that will destroy them little by little until they reach a point where they will have to support each other for the sake of their children. Infidelities, lies, domestic violence, bullying in schools, lies and murder will be part of this story and will pursue each of them relentlessly.

La serie tiene una trama fuerte que muestra situaciones que no son para todo público, es una serie llena de tensión y mucho misterio; algunas situaciones como la violencia doméstica te hace sentir un poco impotente debido a la situación y en mi caso suele ponerme algo incómoda, pero, sin embargo, no te obliga a dejar de ver la serie.

The series has a strong plot that shows situations that are not for all audiences, it is a series full of tension and a lot of mystery; some situations such as domestic violence makes you feel a little helpless because of the situation and in my case it usually makes me a little uncomfortable, but nevertheless, it does not force you to stop watching the series.

Me gusta mucho el toque de misterio que rodea ambas temporadas y el que estén grabadas en Monterey, California le da un toque especial, ya que los paisajes que muestran son dignos de ver. En algunas ocasiones sentí que la historia se desarrollaba algo lento para mi gusto, pero a medida que avanza las piezas del rompecabezas encajan poco a poco y el desarrollo de la historia de cada personaje va tomando sentido.

I really like the touch of mystery that surrounds both seasons and the fact that they are filmed in Monterey, California gives it a special touch, since the landscapes they show are worth seeing. At times I felt that the story developed a little slow for my taste, but as it progresses the pieces of the puzzle fit together little by little and the development of each character's story makes sense.

Es una historia impredecible, que te da giros que no esperabas y que te deja con el corazón doliendo; el ver como la vida perfecta de 3 mujeres intachables se va destrozando por situaciones que en la vida real es algo que sucede, es simplemente difícil de ver, pero el ver como estas 3 mujeres junto a 2 más se unen y se apoyan para salir adelante juntas a pesar de sus diferencias y se protegen entre sí es algo muy lindo y siento que te deja un mensaje bastante fuerte.

It is an unpredictable story, that gives you twists and turns that you did not expect and that leaves you with your heart aching; to see how the perfect life of 3 flawless women is shattered by situations that in real life is something that happens, it is just hard to watch, but to see how these 3 women along with 2 more unite and support each other to move forward together despite their differences and protect each other is something very nice and I feel it leaves you with a very strong message.

Tengo que decir que los personajes femeninos son los que más destacan de esta serie, son mujeres fuertes que pasan por situaciones difíciles que las destruyen, pero a pesar de eso se levantan y luchan, Reese Witherspoon (Madeline), Nicole Kidman (Celeste), Laura Dern (Renata), Shailene Woodley (Jane) y Zoë Kravitz (Bonnie) realizan una actuación increíble y realmente te transmiten cada uno de los sentimientos que abordan a sus personajes.

I have to say that the female characters are the ones that stand out the most in this series, they are strong women that go through difficult situations that destroy them, but in spite of that they get up and fight, Reese Witherspoon (Madeline), Nicole Kidman (Celeste), Laura Dern (Renata), Shailene Woodley (Jane) and Zoë Kravitz (Bonnie) give an incredible performance and really transmit you each one of the feelings that address their characters.

No solo las chicas tienen actuaciones sorprendentes, también están personajes como Perry Wright quien es interpretado por Alexander Skarsgård y Ed quien es interpretado por Adam Scott, ambos realizan un papel impecable con historias diferentes, pero que le dan un toque a la serie muy interesante, Los niños también son muy destacables en la serie sobre todo Ziggy Chapman quien es interpretado por Iain Armitage, creo que este junto a Celeste son mis personajes favoritos.

En Conclusión, Big Little Lies es una serie con una trama muy fuerte que realmente vale la pena, es muy entretenida y tiene mucho drama constantemente; creo que es de esas series que verías una sola vez por lo fuerte de la trama, pero que recomendarías con los ojos cerrados. Mi Puntuación Final es dé.

In Conclusion, Big Little Lies is a series with a very strong plot that is really worth it, it is very entertaining and has a lot of drama constantly; I think it is one of those series that you would watch only once because of the strong plot, but that you would recommend with your eyes closed.My final score is give.
