La Escuela del Bien y el Mal solo entrena a futuros Héroes y Villanos de Cuentos de Hada, pero un día Sophie y Agatha quienes son mejores amigas desde niñas, son separadas y las pondrán en escuelas diferentes, ambas están muy enojadas debido a que sienten que se han confundido y tendrán que luchar por demostrar que están en el lugar equivocado, pero un mal mayor acecha a una de ellas y la pondrá entre la espada y la pared. ¿Podrá resistir a la tentación del Mal? ¿Su mejor amiga logrará salvarla? ¿Ambas Lograran demostrar que están en un lugar al que no pertenecen?

The School For Good And Evil only trains future Heroes and Villains of Fairy Tales, but one day Sophie and Agatha, who have been best friends since they were little, are separated and put in different schools, both are very angry because they feel they have been mistaken and will have to fight to prove they are in the wrong place, but a greater evil is stalking one of them and will put her between a rock and a hard place. La Escuela del Bien y el Mal es una película de Fantasía y Drama que fue estrenada hace poco en Netflix, Su Director es Paul Feig y es una adaptación de la historia de Soman Chainini. Cuenta con un reparto muy bueno que es encabezado por Sophia Anne Caruso y Sofía Wylie, pero además de eso Charlize Theron y Kerry Washington tendrán mucho protagonismo en la película junto a Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, Michelle Yeoh, Earl Cave, Laurence Fishburne, Freya Parks, Demi Isaac Oviawe y Chinenye Ezeudu.

The School for Good and Evil is a Fantasy and Drama movie that was recently released on Netflix, Its Director is Paul Feig and it is an adaptation of the story by Soman Chainini. It has a very good cast that is headed by Sophia Anne Caruso and Sofia Wylie, but besides that Charlize Theron and Kerry Washington will have a lot of starring roles in the movie along with Jamie Flatters, Kit Young, Michelle Yeoh, Earl Cave, Laurence Fishburne, Freya Parks, Demi Isaac Oviawe and Chinenye Ezeudu.

Por lo general cada que anuncian una adaptación de algún libro se crea muchas expectativas entre los lectores y realmente son pocas adaptaciones que logran superarlas, La Escuela del Bien y el Mal es una adaptación del primer libro de Soman Chainini y sinceramente no sé si logro apegarse a la historia del libro debido a que no lo he leído, por lo que no sé si cumplió las expectativas de los fans de esta saga.

The School of Good and Evil is an adaptation of the first book by Soman Chainini and I honestly don't know if it manages to stick to the story of the book because I haven't read it, so I don't know if it met the expectations of the fans of this saga.

La película nos lleva junto a las mejores amigas Sophie y Agatha a 2 Escuelas donde forman a los Héroes y a los Villanos, ambas una tendrán que luchar por demostrar que se han equivocado de escuela y esto generara algunos conflictos tantos en la escuela del mal como en la escuela del bien, pero además de esto Sophie y Agatha tendrán que luchar por su amistad, ya que la manipulación de un mal mayor pondrá a estas dos chicas en un punto de rivalidad donde la más fuerte saldrá victoriosa. Agatha solo quiere salvar a su mejor amiga y volver a su lugar de origen y Sophie solo quiere demostrar que ella es una princesa con la misión de salvar al mundo.

The film takes us along with the best friends Sophie and Agatha to 2 schools where they form the Heroes and Villains, both will have to fight to prove that they have the wrong school and this will generate some conflicts in both the school of evil and the school of good, but besides this Sophie and Agatha will have to fight for their friendship, since the manipulation of a greater evil will put these two girls in a point of rivalry where the strongest will be victorious. Agatha only wants to save her best friend and return to her place of origin and Sophie only wants to prove that she is a princess with a mission to save the world.

La Trama de la película es interesante y me gusto mucho debido a que me encantan las películas y series de fantasía, al principio pensé que por lo larga que es la película, me iba a resultar algo aburrida en algún momento, ya que muchas pelis que tienen una duración de 2 h les cuesta mantener el ritmo y la trama suele decaer en muchas ocasiones, pero al terminar de verla siento que mantuvo el ritmo en un buen nivel que compensa lo larga que es y no se vuelve aburrida, es divertida y tiene algunas partes que causan gracia, tiene una acción muy buena y que te mantiene entretenido.

The plot of the movie is interesting and I liked it a lot because I love fantasy movies and series, at first I thought that because of how long the movie is, it was going to be a little boring at some point, as many movies that have a duration of 2 h have a hard time keeping the pace and the plot usually decays on many occasions, but after watching it I feel that it kept the pace at a good level that compensates for how long it is and does not become boring, it is fun and has some parts that are funny, has a very good action and keeps you entertained.

Me gustan mucho los efectos especiales, la ambientación y la vestimenta de ambas escuelas, aunque me inclino un poco más a la del mal, siento que me identifique más con esa escuela que con la del bien, la película tiene un punto donde hace un giro que yo en lo personal no me lo espere y creí que tendría un final diferente, siento que acá te demuestran que las apariencias suelen engañar muchísimo y que la manipulación suele ayudar a eso.

I really like the special effects, the setting and the costumes of both schools, although I lean a little more to the evil one, I feel that I identify more with that school than with the good one, the film has a point where it makes a turn that I personally did not expect and I thought it would have a different ending, I feel that here they show you that appearances often deceive a lot and that manipulation usually helps to that.

Los personajes son interesantes, me gusto muchísimo el de Lady Lesso (Charlize Theron) esa actriz es increíble y me encanta que le den el papel de la rectora del mal, ya que siento que le pega muchísimo, el duo de Sophia Anne Caruso (Sophie) y Sofía Wylie (Agatha) estuvo genial y se notó la conexión que tienen ambas actrices, me gusto más el personaje de Agatha y siento que Sophie le falto un poquito más en profundizar su historia, los personajes que menos me gustaron fue el de Jamie Flatters (Tedros) y el de Kerry Washington (Profesora Dovey), Tedros me pareció el típico príncipe superficial y el de Dovey me pareció muy fingido, no conecte con ninguno a pesar de que Kerry Washington me encanta. Un plus que le dio un toque especial a la historia fue la voz de la narradora, Cate Blanchett le da vida a la "narratrice" y sinceramente estaba esperando el momento en que realizara una aparición física, Kit Young (Rafal) estuvo espléndido como siempre.

The characters are interesting, I really liked Lady Lesso (Charlize Theron) that actress is amazing and I love that they gave her the role of the rector of evil, as I feel that it fits her a lot, the duo of Sophia Anne Caruso (Sophie) and Sofia Wylie (Agatha) was great and the connection that both actresses have was noticeable, I liked Agatha's character more and I feel that Sophie lacked a little more in deepening her story, the characters that I liked the least was Jamie Flatters (Tedros) and Kerry Washington (Professor Dovey), Tedros seemed to me the typical superficial prince and Dovey's seemed to me very fake, I didn't connect with any of them even though I love Kerry Washington. A plus that gave a special touch to the story was the voice of the narrator, Cate Blanchett gives life to the "narratrice" and honestly I was waiting for the moment when she would make a physical appearance, Kit Young (Rafal) was splendid as always.

En Conclusión, La Escuela del Bien y el Mal es una buena película de fantasía y te deja con muchas ganas de ver como continuara, espero que Netflix confirme una segunda y quizás una tercera película, la recomiendo para los fanáticos de películas de fantasía con un toque de magia. Mi Puntuación final es dé.
