Those who saw more than a couple of movies directed by Quentin Tarantino knows that he has a tendency to create and put violent scenes violently in his works. Inglorious Bastards follows the same direction as of that.

The movie starts with introducing Col. Hans Landa ( Christoph Waltz ) An officer of the German Reich hunting down Jews like a very calm padre. And then the movie takes off like a dog with a burning cloth around its tails. Christoph waltz portrayed this character who can be described as charming , chivalrous , jolly ‘thingamajig’ so perfectly that despite the movie having a broad number of holly woods well known celebrity he trumps them all with his acting. And with his neat and tidy outfit everything was in place which tends to happen in every movie of Tarantiono Christoph Waltz plays in.

The story then revolves around a small pack of soldiers led by Lieutenant Aldo Raine ( Brad Pitt ) who operates in Reich territory and violently scalps Nazi officials to strike fear in them. Then they are introduced to Shoshanna ( Melanie Laurent ) who fled from Landas hand at the beginning of the movie and the movie then turns into a complete work of fiction rather than taking materials from history.
If you love fast paced story telling then this movie is for you. Its like overly cooked tender ribs with no juice. As a typical Tarantino flick this is not as good as “ Reservoir dogs” or as bad as “ The Hateful Eight”. But watching it not critically but as a movie enthusiast I would say this has a bang for buck type thrill allover . Rather enjoying it will not waste your time. You will experience mild adrenaline rush in some sequence and then out of no where an anime type comical massacre.

One more thing to be mentioned is that the movie is distributed into five parts with titles. Then there are some narrations used with Samuel L. Jacksons voice as cherry on top to give the movie a parody type feel of Disney movies. At the climax of the movie and this review both has one thing common, they end in a tone that is both satisfactory and unsatisfactory at the same time.
