This season of Westworld was very different than previous seasons because this time we are finally able to see the real world where these robots are created. For those of you who don't know what Westworld is about, a short premise of the story is that humanity has reached a level of technology that allows for the creation of intelligent robots. These robots are pretty much indistinguishable from humans but they live inside a park serving as hosts for humans to have fun with them.
Hence the name, Westworld. The main robots were hosts in a park with a western them full of cowboys, horses, and that sort of thing. Season 1 was about some robots realizing what they are and the fact they are being held as a sort of modern slaves so humans can abuse them in these theme parks.
Naturally, a rebellion begins, and seasons 2 ends with a few robots getting out of the park. Dolores is the main robot and the one who picked my attention a few years ago when seeing trailers of the first season, here is a short example of those dialogues. The first 2 seasons but especially the first one had very intriguing dialogues almost always involving Anthony Hopkins's character. Season 3 is more focused on the action but for me, it was equally entertaining.

In this new season, we have a new important character played by Aaron Paul. He is a construction worker and sometimes works using a futuristic app that offers rewards for completing criminal tasks. He doesn't earn much money and his life seems a bit messed up.
This season has a new villain as well but I prefer to not say anything about this character. Dolores wants to bring big changes to the world but there are other forces, including 2 other main robots who don't agree with what Dolores wishes to accomplish.
One of the aspects I liked the most of this season is how the modern world is portrayed, it had cool looking robots and digital tools that are crazy but believable. As usual, the cgi is top-notch, this is of course not a surprise coming from HBO. There are some interesting fights, and a few twists as well. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens next. There is a post-credit scene in the last episode that provides a small glimpse of the type of future that awaits.
This is a major scifi/action show and it is also one of the main series from HBO. Recommending this series is not hard to do. Just have in mind that as the story advances the type of show changes, season 1 was more philosophical and season 3 is more about scifi action.

The best
- Cool modern world and new robots.
- Interesting futuristic technology.
- Great continuation of the plot, looking forward to season 4.
The worst
- The show changes tone because it is now more action-related. Although it is understandable given the type of decisions and events that are taking place.
