The prizes are meant to incentivize the smaller Steemians, the planktons, minnows and barracudas out in the Steem Ocean to participate in powering up on SPUD, and hopefully create more understanding as to why Steem Power is what backs the Steem Economy.

Nice I was looking at the circulation today and I was like 70k dolphins for 700k minnows dries up all the Steem currently available

It just reminds me what a precious resource this is and why I should be acquiring as much as I can at these low prices

Hello xpilar, nice to meet you. I really agree with Spud. and this is a good initiative to support Steem to get a change. I will participate with Spud on this 1st August. at this time I did not turn off the power for a long time. and I also plan to change the entire steem that I have into power on this 1st August.

2 days ago I made a post about Spud. and I also thank you for voting for that post. for the next day I made another post about spud so that many of them would know this.
