Steem is currently leading all cryptos on CoinMarketCap.

On the eve of the eve of HF 21, our beloved Steem is seeing a bit of love.

It is up near $.20 per coin, which is a gain of close to 6% in the last 24 hours.

That doesn't sound like much, but it is during a period when the much of crypto is pulling back slightly.

In fact, steem is leading all coins on CoinMarketCap.

Steem has been getting a significant amount of press as it relates to its upcoming hard fork.

This is probably the most press Steem has seen since it was revealed back in November that steem/steemit would be laying off 70% of their staff.

It's nice to see some positive press for a change!

There is no guarantee these little price gains hold, but for the time being, it is nice to see.

Will this hard fork be what Steem needs?

Of that I am not sure, but I guess it was pretty much proven that the old model likely wasn't going to work either, so perhaps this will work better.

We will soon find out.

If you haven't been following along, the hard fork is stated to go live on Tuesday at 11 AM EST.

***EDIT: As I type this, it looks like Steem is already pulling back, dang. I was hoping this was the start of a trend.

We start to have again a nice Up trend on the STEEM now, we must keep an eye on it

Funny how hardly anyone posts about when it moves up the ranks only when it moves down lol. Steem hasn't had much outside press in ages. I think once we have SMT's and even Scots should be punted to these media outlets. We're not doing enough PR with all the tech being built here, we rely too much on the internal social media to get the word out

I think a successful Hard Fork will cause a good run higher as it hasn’t been priced in I believe.

Great news! I agree we have received a some attention since news of HardFork was released by Steem inc.,, which I believe is utilizing Press Releases to get some attention for Steem.
